A couple of months ago he left the Herald to start The Bounce, a new thrice-weekly sports newsletter, via Substack. He joined Duncan Greive over Zoom this week to talk through the move, how sports journalism has changed in recent years and his investigations into the hidden toll of head injuries in rugby.
