2026 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings: Top 12 Debate
The NFL season is almost here, which means it is time to lock in the final wide receiver projections. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price reveal their top 12 receivers for 2026 and debate which stars can challenge for the overall WR1 spot.

Ja'Marr Chase, Puka Nacua, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba separate themselves as the names everyone believes can realistically finish at the top. The order is far from unanimous, though, with questions about offensive efficiency, target volume, and whether last year's production can be repeated.
The bigger disagreements arrive further down the board. Jameson Williams receives a top 10 ranking based on his explosive efficiency and the possibility of another target increase.
Rich takes things even further with Garrett Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr. inside his top 12. Wilson finally has an opportunity to turn his talent into elite fantasy production, while Harrison becomes a bet on a major third year breakout.
With players like Ladd McConkey, Chris Olave, Nico Collins, and Tetairoa McMillan also fighting for those spots, the WR1 tier could look very different by the end of 2026.

With the NFL season about to begin, dynasty startup values are already shifting. Garret Price and Peter Bartausky jump into a live 12-team superflex, tight end premium dynasty startup mock to see how training camp buzz, preseason performances, and changing positional values are affecting draft boards.

Jahmyr Gibbs goes first overall, allowing Pete to grab Josh Allen at the 1.02. It highlights an important shift in startups as elite running backs and wide receivers begin challenging quarterbacks for the very top selections.
From there, both hosts are forced to adjust as the draft refuses to cooperate with their original plans.
Pete pushes toward a win-now build while Garret repeatedly finds wide receiver value and abandons his usual running back heavy approach.
The biggest lesson is simple: do not force a predetermined roster construction. Take the value the room gives you, recognize tier breaks, and be willing to fix roster weaknesses through trades later.

Andrew takes the safe route with Josh Allen, and Garret immediately goes off script with Joe Burrow, betting on a Bengals offense he thinks could go nuclear. At running back it splits between Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs, with James Cook thrown in as a dark horse. Ja'Marr Chase is the unanimous wide receiver one, and Brock Bowers gets the nod at tight end with Tyler Warren lurking.
Jeremiyah Love takes rookie of the year almost by default, and the guys explain why the rest of the class thinned out fast. Then come the busts, where Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert both get called out for very different reasons. Bhayshul Tuten and Jonah Coleman headline the breakouts before the MVP picks land. See how your board compares in the dynasty rankings. ๐ฅ

Few players have created more excitement for Rich than KC Concepcion. His separation, movement skills, versatility, and ability with the ball in his hands have Rich aggressively trying to acquire him before his dynasty value rises further.
The rookie conversation does not stop there. Ashton Jeanty remains a potential workhorse, but an impressive preseason from the backs behind him creates an interesting workload discussion.
The guys also explain why dynasty best ball changes the types of players they target, identify inexpensive running backs contenders can pursue, and discuss why paying premium prices at running back is not always necessary.
Then attention turns toward the future. With the 2027 class finally approaching, several under the radar college prospects join the familiar names dynasty managers have been tracking for years.

2026 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings: Top 12 Debate
The top of the running back board looks loaded, but agreement disappears quickly once the Dynasty Nerds crew gets past the biggest names. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price break down their top 12 running backs for 2026 and debate which stars have a real path to finishing as the overall RB1.

Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Christian McCaffrey headline the conversation, but the hosts believe De'Von Achane belongs firmly in the mix as well. His receiving usage and explosive ceiling make him one of the most intriguing names near the top of the position.
The easy choices end there. Once the rankings move deeper, roster situations, injuries, workloads, and age create plenty of disagreement.
Cam Skattebo produces one of the biggest debates after landing surprisingly high on one host's board. Javonte Williams also gets serious top 12 consideration, while Jonathan Taylor brings concerns after another massive workload.
The crew also weighs the championship appeal of James Cook, the upside of Omarion Hampton, and several veterans who could either reward fantasy managers or fall outside the elite tier.

The season is nearly here, and this one is not about dynasty value. On this episode of the Dynasty Nerds Podcast, Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price reveal their top 12 quarterbacks for 2026, the guys they think actually carry teams to a championship. ๐

Everyone assumes Josh Allen is the automatic QB1, and one host takes a calculated swing anyway, putting Joe Burrow at the top and explaining exactly why the Bengals defense makes it work. Jayden Daniels, Lamar Jackson, and Drake Maye fill out the top of the boards, while Patrick Mahomes gets left off a top 12 entirely. Trevor Lawrence gets a passionate defense after a scorching finish to last season.
Malik Willis cracks a top 12 on rushing volume alone, Jaxson Dart splits the room over deep ball accuracy, and Caleb Williams has one host far higher than the rest. Then Justin Herbert takes heat, with two hosts off him entirely and a make or break framing that might change how you value him. Compare the lists to your own dynasty rankings before draft day. ๐ฅ

Flag plant season is here, and this pair is not hedging. On this episode of the Dynasty Nerds Podcast, Garret Price and Andrew Mott name the players they are riding into 2026.

Andrew plants his flag on Jayden Daniels for a top five finish, arguing the market badly overreacted to an injury riddled year two. Garret counters with Jalen Hurts, and he takes apart every knock one by one, the age narrative, the tush push, and the loss of a certain number one receiver. Then comes the one place these two actually disagree, and it involves Cam Skattebo and the arrival of Najee Harris.
De'Von Achane gets a passionate defense despite the offense around him, Chris Olave draws an irrational buy from Andrew, and Tee Higgins might be the most gettable contending piece in dynasty right now. Emeka Egbuka is pegged for a top 15 finish, and both hosts land on the same tight end: Tyler Warren, with a target projection that will raise eyebrows. Line these up against the dynasty rankings and see who you agree with. ๐ฅ

Camp week delivered one of the fastest panic cycles of the offseason. On this episode of the Dynasty Nerds Podcast, Garret Price and Andrew Mott run through the news that actually moves your roster, starting with a scare that came and went in about five hours. ๐

Ashton Jeanty went from doomsday to high ankle in a matter of hours, and managers who moved fast got fleeced. The guys share two real trades that closed before the truth came out, plus why Mike Washington still matters even now. Then it is Carnell Tate, still without a catch this preseason, and Garret explains why this is a buy window rather than a red flag, even with the Cam Ward concerns piling up.
Tyrone Tracy may be in the doghouse, Marshawn Lloyd could cut into Josh Jacobs more than expected, and San Francisco might have finally found a running back two and Deshaun Stripling keeps forcing the issue. Update your board with the latest dynasty rankings.

Value season is here, and finding the guys before the market does is the whole game. On this episode of the Dynasty Nerds Podcast, Garret Price is joined by JJ Zachariason of Late Round QB to trade names they think are badly mispriced heading into the year. ๐

JJ opens with Stefon Diggs, and the metrics say the washed label is flat wrong. The fit next to Terry McLaurin might be the cleanest one on the board. Garret counters with Jaylen Waddle, whose new role and volume path could push him from a guy people shrug at into legitimate wide receiver one territory. The two also dig into why chasing the X label is one of the most common mistakes fantasy managers make.
Terrance Ferguson carries a downfield profile unlike any tight end in football, Jonah Coleman draws an Alvin Kamara comparison that is hard to unhear, and Wan'Dale Robinson might quietly split targets with Carnell Tate far more evenly than anyone expects. Quinshon Judkins closes it out with a Nick Chubb comp and a path into the running back one conversation. Check your board against the dynasty rankings before these prices move. ๐ฅ

Josh Allen projects as the only true difference maker at the position, with Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson right behind him. The bigger takeaway is what happens next. From quarterback two down to quarterback 13, there is barely a two point per game spread. Rich argues Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert both deserve a bump, and makes a bold call on Patrick Mahomes missing the top 12 entirely.
Jahmyr Gibbs edges Bijan Robinson at the top, with Christian McCaffrey and De'Von Achane completing the elite tier. Rich pounds the table for David Montgomery and Jonathan Brooks as value plays. At receiver, Ja'Marr Chase and Puka Nacua sit well clear of the field. And George Kittle lands at tight end four coming off an Achilles, which surprised everyone in the room.
