Week 1 is upon us and it's time for those last minute drafts, lineup changes and 2023 season predictions. But before we get to the predictions, Steve and Jay discuss Travis Kelce and his recent injury.

Next, they take you through Jay's Week 0 Free Agent Auction targets to find those players to fill out your lineup right before Week 1. Go get those guys before they go off in Week 1 and are more expensive to bid on next week.

Jonathan Taylor (again!) and the ongoing saga of "Will He or Won't He Play for the Colts" this season. Both Jay and Steve think that he will unless a team gives Jim Irsay more than he says he wants.

Recent NFL trades (mostly kickers, but also Trey Lance) and the contradiction in the Dynasty Owner roster percentages of two backup QBs (Lance and Zach Wilson) making over $8.5 million each per year.

Finally, they go back and forth giving their takes on a series of players who were released recently and what you should do with them in Dynasty Owner. Lots of low-salary players got let go by their NFL teams over the past couple of days, but who might help your fantasy football team down the road.

Free Agents are up first as both of them try to predict the landing spot for the highest profile remaining free agents. It'll be interesting to see if any of their landing spots end up being correct as it's anybody's guess right now where these free agents play in 2023. They make predictions for Offensive Player of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year in both conferences and are required to pick a "sleeper" since it is too easy to say "Patrick Mahomes for AFC Player of the Year". Finally, they talk about some of the things they are looking forward to seeing in training camps, highlighted by rookie QBs, Calvin Ridley, the Patriots "new" offense and predict how many games Alvin Kamara will be suspended.

The draft in the first league with both Jay and Steve is finished and the second one with just Steve was almost completed at the time of the recording. At the end, they go over a few trades in both leagues involving 2023 rookie draft picks. At least one player and one draft pick were traded twice out of 21 total trades around the rookie draft in both leagues. They also review some of the biggest stories from NFL OTAs this week including Stefon Diggs' mysterious decision to not participate in Day 1 of Bills' OTAs and how both Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs should probably just go ahead and sign those franchise tag contracts that they are refusing to do so far. Somehow Steve references both former major league outfielder and Mets announcer Ralph Kiner during that discussion.

It's the Dalvin Cook situation with Minnesota. Steve is pretty convinced that Dalvin isn't going anywhere because it would have happened already if it was going to happen and believes that the Vikings should keep Dalvin and make their best effort to win the Super Bowl. Steve's passion convinces Jay that Dalvin should stay in Minnesota.Finally, they talk about rookie drafts and one league that both of them are in with completely different rookie draft positions. Jay has 10 picks in this Dynasty Owner rookie drafts including six 1st round pick, while Steve just traded his last pick (3.05) away along with a 2024 3rd round pick for Leonard Fournette. Jay looks at a couple of trade offers for his 1.07 pick that is on the clock, but doesn't want to take either one so he makes his pick.
