What’s up Dynasty Owners? Welcome back to another article. Why you ask? As I said in my previous video, Dynasty Owner is like the Las Vegas of fantasy football, we never sleep! Before we start diving into the off-season full swing, I have one last article for all of you strictly regarding the 2021 NFL season.

Hello all. Welcome to the off-season. Whatever part of the NFL season you find the most exciting, there is no doubt that the start of the off-season ranks up there for Dynasty Owners. As I mentioned in the last article, this is a fresh start. This is a time for hope as most of us will be drafting new rookies onto our teams. But before we look forward to 2022, today I am going to put a final recap on the 2021 season. I will be bringing you a player from each position who was outstanding in the fantasy playoffs (Weeks 15 - 17). The players I’m about to mention are not the only players that excelled, but they are some of the standouts that I think are worth mentioning.

If you recall back to late November and early December, I penned two articles about who I predicted would be “League Winners”. Due to bad luck and a few poor picks, there weren’t many players on those lists who actually were league winners, but I think my process was sound. Let’s talk about it…

In today’s article, we will cover part of the evaluation process and will look at the top Free Agent Auction pick-ups for the 2021 season. I must admit when I was asked to do this, I got excited because I feel it is a great way to show users how deep Dynasty Owner rosters really are as well as how savvy the players on this platform are in terms of already rostering the right players. Remember back in Week 1 when everyone was scrambling to pick up Elijah Mitchell? Here on the Dynasty Owner platform, he was well over 95% rostered at that point. In the 2021 season there was not a whole of season long help, though one player stands out above all else in that category and we’ll get to him shortly. We also failed to see much in terms of future talent or players who will be on your roster producing for multiple years but as I mentioned in the previous category, it was not a complete bust. Dynasty Owners are fantasy football savvy.

A few quick reminders before we jump into our top 2021 free agent pick-ups. First and foremost, thank you all for participating in the 2021 Dynasty Owner season! The off-season will be coming quickly as Dynasty Owner never really sleeps. Early March will be an especially critical time for Dynasty Owners as it will be time for many important contract decisions. For everyone who was chasing a Dynasty Owner League Championship, they needed a few of the top point producers in their Starting lineup to make sure that they would win. Winning a League Championship was worth $100 million Dynasty Dollars for everyone and half of the total prize money pool for those in cash prize leagues ($600 in $1,200 prize pool leagues and $300 in $600 prize pool leagues). While it’s important to have the highest scoring players over the course of the season to help you reach the finals, the most important thing in the finals is having the highest scoring players for the week to win the Championship.
Since I’ve already written about what happened in the Chase for the Ring (Congrats again to Jeff on winning with his SKOL Vikings team) and the Match-ups of the Week, this article and the video will focus on the players who performed the best and the worst in Week 17. It’s the usual first part of the weekly recap article, just without the Match-up of the Week and Chase for the Ring Top 10 recap. The old expression “Two’s Company, Three’s A Crowd” is an appropriate analogy for how to look at the situation at the top of Dynasty Owner right now. Hello Owners and thank you for reading. Today, I will be presenting my final article of the 2021 Dynasty Owner season. After this week, all the Dynasty Owner champions will be crowned. A Chase for the Ring winner will also be named. This is obviously a very exciting time for us here at Dynasty Owner. In addition to people winning their leagues, this is also a time to start fresh. After this week’s games, everyone will be equals again. Everyone will enter the off-season with just as much opportunity as the next Dynasty Owner. As I said, this is a very exciting time of the year for everyone.

Dynasty Owners, welcome to the last week of Free Agent Auction pickups for the 2021 season. I may be releasing more articles this week if circumstances warrant for all our Dynasty Owners competing for their League Championship or the beloved bonus pick that we offer to the winner of the Loser’s bracket tournament. Week 16 was no different than any other week we have seen this season with many crazy outcomes, injuries, and more players out with Covid. Only the strong, or lucky, whichever term you prefer survive in 2021. As always before we hit our Free Agent Auction targets, we will cover the games of Week 16 during Jay’s weekly recap.

Up first, we have the Thursday night snooze fest between the 49ers and Titans, and I am only calling it a snooze fest because I fell asleep for majority of the game. I am no help on this one I know! In my favorite part of this segment, well call it a sub-segment, Baker Mayfield struggles again. The Browns played a virtual must win game against the Packers and the former Number 1 overall pick, Mayfield had his first career four interception game leaving Browns’ fans with a sour taste in their mouth. The Colts and the Cardinals squared off in another game with big playoff implications with the Colts coming out on top once again. They are one of the hottest teams in football right now. Joe Burrow had a career day throwing for 525 yards and four touchdowns against the Covid ridden Ravens. The Bills and Patriots played in a huge divisional matchup with the Bills taking over first place in the AFC East. Finally, Eli and the rest of the Bills Mafia can celebrate for a week. The Cowboys defense continued to dominate against the Football Team and the offense finally seems to be back on track as well. Finally, we have the Steelers putting a whooping on the Kansas City Chiefs…… and then I stopped dreaming!

At this point of the season, any team can defeat their opponent. It’s true in the NFL. Just look at what happened last week when a Detroit Lions team with 11 losses on the season defeated a 10-win Arizona Cardinals team pretty handily. It wasn’t nearly as big of an upset, but on Sunday night, the New Orleans Saints team who were 6-7 and in need of victories to make a playoff run shut out the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are still three games ahead of the Saints in the NFC South and nearly a lock to win the division and make the playoffs, while the Saints are still not in the playoffs right now.

It's a little different in Dynasty Owner as all of the teams playing each other this week have either won a playoff game, or were good enough to secure a first round bye. In theory, they should be closer in talent, and it won’t be surprising if a lower seed comes up and defeats one of the teams that had a bye in Week 15. There are plenty of Dynasty Owner leagues in which a #6 seed beat the #3 seed and advanced to play against the #1 seed this week. Remember, that the semi-finals are reseeded, so the lowest ranked team that won in the first round faces off against the #1 seed. It didn’t happen in one of our Match-ups of the Week in the first round as The Road Warriors defeated Ruff Ryders Inc. However, in League #34636 that featured our other Match-up of the Week between Goff Balls and Super Mario Bros., the #6 seed team (Taylor Park Boys) defeated the #3 seed (Laxbro) by almost 67.0 Dynasty Owner fantasy points.
