  • We Confront Inherited Clutter, Purging Guilt, And The Strange Rituals Around Death

    Send us Fan Mail

Ever open a dusty box and feel the wave of guilt wash over you before you even see what’s inside? We’re knee-deep in a household purge and a family inheritance tangle—moving cross-country while sorting funeral guestbooks, memorial cards, crocheted doilies, baptism outfits, and a stack of mystery paperwork that somehow still has Social Security numbers on it. The question running through the whole episode: what do we owe the dead, and what do we keep for the living?

  • What The Youngest Child Really Sees

    Send us Fan Mail

Ever notice how the youngest child can read a room faster than anyone else? We dive into that last-born radar—why being the baby can feel like a front-row seat to family cracks no one wants to name, and how age gaps turn one address into multiple childhoods. With three youngest voices at the table, we compare tight-sibling clusters to 12-year spreads, swap stories about old-lady babysitters and marathon TV nights, and unpack the odd mix of freedom, invisibility, and attention that comes with the “baby” label.  Chrisy and Kerry dive into this topic of the youngest child inspired by a speech by Jordan Peterson.

  • Two Friends Walk Into A Podcast And Accidentally Go International

    Send us Fan Mail

A single text turned into 70 episodes, a coast-to-coast map of new friends, and a global community we never saw coming. We close out season one with open hearts and full notebooks: the origin story, the surprises, and the bold shift that sets up what comes next.  Growth surprised us. We expected midlife women to make up the core audience because those are our stories, yet the download map and messages told another tale. Young listeners arrived, men tuned in, families played segments on road trips, and whole vet clinics became unofficial street teams. We list the cities that lit us up, and speak to what made that reach possible: consistent publishing, honest conversation, and a tone that mixes humor with care. For creators, this is a reminder that specificity attracts; when you speak plainly about your life, you don’t shrink your audience, you signal authenticity that travels.

  • If your skeleton wears bunny ears in April, we need to talk

    Send us Fan Mail

Holiday season used to feel like a slow build. Now it’s a sprint: Halloween launches in July, Thanksgiving gets squeezed, and December arrives with a storage bin avalanche. We get honest about how that pace numbs the joy—and what to do when the yard turns into a plastic parade. From HOAs setting limits on tree lawns to cities asking neighbors to dial it back, boundaries can actually make celebrations better. But the real reset starts at home: we lay out a practical “use-it-or-lose-it” plan to death clean our holiday bins, keep what matters, and give the rest a graceful goodbye.

  • From wigs to downloads: when a 1972 doll predicts your co-hosts

Gratitude doesn’t have to be grand to be real. We open our Thankful Sunday by naming the people who make this show possible—Chrissy’s quick wit, DJ Nick’s sharp edits, Kerry's ongoing laugh trac, and Farm Boy Jim’s steady support that keeps our energy up even off-mic. From first test recordings to our 67th episode, we trace how a small idea became a growing community across 12 countries and 196 cities, and why the numbers matter only because the people behind them do.

  • We watched the dysfunction so you don’t have to

    Send us Fan Mail

What do you do when the wildest stories in your life are the ones you didn’t cause—you just watched? We dive into the hilarious and heartfelt mess of secondhand dysfunction: a sibling clinging to a car hood to save neighborhood kittens, a dad proudly returning from the pound with “our” collie that was definitely a Labrador, and a mysterious 70s women’s gathering where a legally blind grandmother briefly claimed clear sight. It’s a tour through the moments we’ve normalized, the roles we played as witnesses, and the ways humor helps us carry complicated love for the people who raised us.
