Simon, Vida and his parents finally take a step towards getting some answers to their biggest concern - the young couple's failure to conceive. Each of the four of them is lost in their own thoughts as they reflect on the explanation provided by the medicine man. This is another test for Simon and Vida. While others may be prepared to wait and see, Mai Simon decides to take matters in her own hands.

She is consumed by her infatuation with him. Her behavior changes dramatically. In her eyes he is the perfect man for her and anyone who suggests otherwise is to be dismissed.

So what does Joe do in Gwelo anyway? We get a glimpse into his "career" in the city. Rudo asks Mufundisi Lovedale about her parents and he evades her questions as best he can. When is the right time to have such a conversation? She takes matters in her own hands to some facts about her parentage.

Anna and Joe seem to be launching into a wonderful love story. Let's see how the story unfolds. We also get their back story. We learn where they came from and how they came to be who they are.
