Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post. This week, I talk about a situation that is being addressed at a local school and now is hitting our Government. It is a problem that seems simple to solve, but is more complicated and yet simpler. You will find that often the issue in view is not the whole issue and there are components that need to be considered in order to deal effectively with it. If you want to know more….stay tuned!

Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post. After reading about yet another ‘influencer’ story gone wrong, I have come to the conclusion that influencers should be older people rather than younger ones. If you want to know more about this and experience some very dry humour.  If you want to hear more about why one should be the one and only incomparable YOU either keep reading or tune in to my podcast!

Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post. In the past year or two, I have realized that we now treat being an introvert as something to ‘get over’ or ‘get past’. The push toward everyone becoming an extrovert seems to be in the media and gives people the idea that maybe there is only one good way to be. I disagree. If you want to find out more…either keep reading or tune in to my podcast!

Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post. My philosophy is to be creative and it's ok to be different. We don't all need or want to be one size fits all cookie cutter bloggers, authors, artists or people. It's ok to be, but also know there are options. Be a butterfly and open your wings! There are things that need to be done and we have the methods.

Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post. It is necessary in life to be flexible and find different avenues when one particular one doesn’t fit for you or isn’t working for you anymore. You need to have boundaries clear of what you are willing to do or not willing to do. Everyone needs to make these boundaries for themselves. If you want to learn more, stay tuned or read my blogpost.

Welcome to this week's A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast from our blog post. There are different ways to think of anything in life. These are the trifecta of opportunity, challenge or disaster. There are, of course different variations of these and different variations of the trifecta. There are ideas out there worth taking time to ponder and may change how you see things. Sometimes one is all it takes - one person, one thought changed... one. If you want to learn more, stay tuned or read my blogpost.

Welcome to the A & J PEI Treasures E Jean Simpson author podcast and blog post.  The life of anyone including authors, artists and people in general depends on choices one makes.  It also depends on choices others make.  Some choices really aren’t what they seem to be.  Some seem to be poorly thought out and others seem to be, at heart, good but will cause difficulty down the road.  Sometimes I think I’m becoming the Prince Edward Island English version of La Sagouine.
