E Jean Simpson, BEd, BA, MA Author A & J PEI Treasures

If we want to move forward, we need to develop into a more tolerant and caring world. With some of the media, we have seen that there is still a shocking amount of intolerance in Canada and we see the product of racism in the past. There is a lack of understanding that the truth is to be learned from, not feared and history has taught us some serious lessons. Things have to change. The only thing in life that is constant is change. If this is true, we might as well work toward change for the betterment of humanity. Embrace the truth and history even if it is ugly there is value to learning and changing. If you want to see more of my take on racism and intolerance, stay tuned or keep reading! (sorry, I did mispronounce a few words in my zeal to get the message out.  Fervour for one :-) )

Every author has parts of their art that are harder and they don't like as much.  For me, it's "Cyber Issues".  So, when the sea gets rough, you really are the only one who can save your own ship from sinking.  Read or listen to my podcast to find out more about the wild ride that is the no budget Indie Author life!  Also, not in my podcast as I found out after getting it set before I found out, so this isn't in my Podcast...a tidbit for those of you who read my blog posts and pod cast write up:  A & J PEI Treasures has joined the Miles of Smiles photo contest https://www.shelterchallenge.com/shelterchallenge/contest/match/36392?ContestantID=153890.  Sam the Wonder Dog has agreed to smile pretty for the camera so we can help our local Keeping Cats Homed Shelter...if we win.  Also gives them publicity like this.  They also accept donations.  So if you want to help out, their page gives information.  https://www.keepingcatshomed.com/

Despite appearances, arts and authorship, much like life, is not always all wine and roses.  If you want to learn more about my take on some of the issues of the world of publishing e-books, continue with the post!   Being Realistically Unrealistic is not always the easy way to be but it works for me.
