In this episode, Garth and Eric interview Janet Peters from Washington State University Tri Cities in Richland, WA. We discuss Janet's unique tenure track job comprising of 60% teaching and 40% secondary area. It becomes clear that her current passion is for teaching undergraduate statistics, using a service learning model where students work with community partners. This passion likely emerged from her competitive swimming background in childhood, her love of sports, and special undergraduate mentoring.
