It is with profound sadness that teachers of psychology everywhere lost an ardent advocate, as Dr. Lee Gurel passed away on July 24, 2023. His support of high school teachers of psychology through the American Psychological Foundation is legendary, and his gifts to support teachers then in turn help to improve the learning outcomes of untold numbers of high school students nationwide.
