The US Space Force intends to use “force design” to determine what the service will do and how it does it through the Space Warfighting Analysis Center. Over the last year, the US Marine Corps has laid out a new concept to organize better for using and leveraging technology, also calling it force design. What can be learned from the Marine Corps’ experience in exploring, implementing and executing force design as a way to shape the Space Force?
