William Conger is an accomplished Chicago painter. This conversation with William focuses on the common elements we all share; seeing the world as a child, expectations set on us by parents, expectations we set for ourselves, and making our way in the world. The unique thing about William is that much of this is revealed for all of the world to see in his art. Music credit @ketsamusic

I can't stop painting!

That is what this episode's guest has to say about her experience with her art. Shelia is an abstract painter right here in Chicago, and I had a wonderful time getting to know her and her artistic process. I am pleased to share my conversation with Shelia Arora.

This episode’s guest grew up in the same town as me, Burlington, Massachusetts. John is a bit younger, so we didn’t know each other as kids. However, we were definitely incubated, so to speak, in a similar manner. While I went to engineering school, John went to art school and has been involved in metalsmithing and applied design all of his adult life.
