• A fire burned through five homes in Kensington early Friday morning. Firefighters found an elderly woman dead inside the home where the blaze started.

• With thousands of Philly students expected to ride SEPTA to school starting next week, the transit agency is launching a special police unit to try to make its buses and trolleys safer.
• A mural program in Delaware County is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a special unveiling this weekend.
• For the third time this season, the Phillies dropped a series to the Braves. They lost 3-2 last night in Atlanta.

• The Philadelphia Eagles acquired wide receiver Jahan Dotson and a fifth-round pick in the 2025 draft from the Washington Commanders for a third-round pick and two seventh-round picks from the 2025 draft in a rare deal between the NFC East rivals.
