What happens when Will stops being polite and starts being real? The TV 101 Reality TV episode! We ask the question: is reality TV worth saving? But first, listen as we go through the history of this genre from it's roots to the post-Kardashian wasteland of today. Plus, Will admits to being a bit too much of a fan of yet another thing. What? He didn't come here to make friends. Please visit http://www.patreon.com/earth_2.

At the behest and donation of our great listener, Dean, Dread Media swerves from the typical this week as we take in some Oscar-baity arthouse. First up, Darryll and Desmond take in a viewing of the seminal and powerful ensemble piece, Magnolia. Devil Dinosaur Jr. reviews the more recent, but similarly themed film Nebraska. Of course, there are also songs: "Momentum" and "Save Me" by Aimee Mann, "Time" by Wraitchild America, and "Daddy's Hands" by Shooter Jennings. Thanks again to Dean for his support! The Cure for the Common Podcast makes its way to Texas for the 1997 Royal Rumble. Marvel at the neon cacti of Denim and Diamonds on Shotgun, be wowed by Stone Cold Steve Austin's amazing performance during the Royal Rumble match, and be shocked at just how quickly they set up February's In Your House PPV on Raw.

After the intense pain of the last episode, the hosts have decided to sit back with some sweet bass riffs and genocide, courtesy of Yor, the Hunter from the Future, a movie in which the bulging pectorals and overbearing theme song are constantly fighting for screen time. It's just as awesome as it sounds. Please visit http://tranquiltirades.wikia.com.

Unfortunate puns are in abundance as Shana and Mike pay tribute to the late, great Robin Williams with their discussion of Mrs. Doubtfire. Please visit our Patreon page at http://www.patreon.com/forbetterorworse.

In this Earth-2-in-1: Captain America breaks some backs while The Thing punches a lion in the face (Marvel Two-in-One #4), Batman is forced into retirement by the mayor which somehow leads to Wayne Enterprises being held hostage (The Brave and the Bold #113), and the Wundarr "storyline" finally gets puts to rest. Benvenuto! This week we celebrate cinema italiano! There's a wide berth of genres being covered: sword and sandal, giallo, zombie, and post-apocalyptic. First off, Darryll and Desmond take in a viewing of Lucio Fulci's Conquest. Then, Devil Dinosaur Jr. is stirred, but not shaken, by the mostly unseen giallo film starring no one's favorite James Bond: Who Saw Her Die? Finally, Desmond returns to review Blue Underground's Blood-Soaked Double Feature Blu-ray which features two films by Italian schlock merchant Bruno Mattei: Hell of the Living Dead and Rats: Night of Terror. And of course, some songs to be serenaded by on a gondola through the canals of Venice: "Conquest" by Judas Priest, "Smoking Snakes" by Sabaton, "El Prima Baso" by Ennio Morricone, "Rats" by Clutch, and "Conquest" by rokOpera Inc. Romulans! Want more copy to read? Romulans being Romulans! Still not enough? An unnamed Romulan Commander lays waste to Federation outposts along the Neutral Zone, resulting in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse ("Balance of Terror"). Then, a tired Enterprise crew finds rest and danger on an idyllic planet ("Shore Leave"). Also: Mark Lenard! Romulans! Pancakes! Wait, what? Please visit our Patreon page at patreon.com/edge.

Ian and Dave get together for a special bonus episode covering the table-reading of the unmade episode of The Middleman: "The Doomsday Armageddon Apocalypse," from the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. The episode sees Manservant Neville's nefarious schemes come to fruition. Wendy and The Middleman must stop him from warping the very fabric of reality itself and turning all the beans into peas. They also embrace the use of wrestling terminology to describe the crowd's reaction, and celebrate a towering performance from Mark Sheppard.
