Earth-2.net Presents...

This week Dread Media takes a look at some random infected-zombie films. First up, Adam and Desmond check out the military-experiment-gone-wrong-style infected-zombie in Toxin. Then an environmental disaster creates the flesh-eaters in Devil Dinosaur Jr.'s Stay Scary on Hell of the Living Dead. Desmond is joined by Jeff and Luke to look at perhaps the most interesting one of them all: the social media-induced zombification of Antisocial. There's infected tunes by the following: "MK Ultra" by Toxic Holocaust, "Toxic Garbage Island" by Gojira, "Torn Apart" by Valient Thorr, "Crash Course in Brain Surgery" by Metallica, and "Fool for a Blond" by Roger Bartlett & Friends. RIP Marilyn Burns. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow @DevilDinosaurJr and @dreadmedia on Twitter! Join the Facebook group! Visit www.stayscary.wordpress.com.

To celebrate the 50th episode of For Better or Worse, as well as the program's second anniversary, Shana and Mike examine Woody Allen's Annie Hall. Plus, is it Monty Hall or Monty Python, and how does Mike hit that note? Please visit our Patreon page at http://www.patreon.com/forbetterorworse.

Sometimes you can't go home again. Or maybe you do, but things have changed. Or maybe you just haven't. Regardless, aliens may be involved. This week, Desmond and Duane take a look at Edgar Wright's World's End. To fit the theme, Darryll and Desmond follow it up with a look at Abel Ferrara's unique take on the classic alien invasion tale: Body Snatchers. There are tunes, as well: "Gimme Some Skin" by The 69 Eyes, "BEER!" by Psychostick, "Alienized" by Volbeat, and "Invasion of the Mind Snatchers" by Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine. It's Big Damn Heroes 74, and we're wrapping up our coverage of Firefly. We're also being treated to some rather delightful fanservice. Will and Hannah cover the three unaired episodes, as well as the final episode of the series. Some are quite good, while others leave something to be desired. Plots that potentially could've happened are discussed, The Heroes try to figure out what led to what in broadcast order, and the general sentiment of this episode is "If only." Join Will and Hannah as they cover "Trash," "The Message," "Heart of Gold," and "Objects in Space."

It's time once again for the most anticipated show of the BITD calendar year: The Obscure Movie Episode! Join Tom and Derrick as they discuss Roy Orbison's first and only movie, demonic cars, generational sagas in cartoon form, and Shatner speaking Esperanto! All this plus permanently puckered hands, why adults are scared of teenagers, and secret agent midgets! You know you don't want to rely on a three-fingered special effects man, so get to clicking! (And don't forget to follow us on Twitter at @BITDShow!)

Kirk sits in a chair ("Dagger of the Mind"), and a child trolls The Enterprise ("The Corbomite Maneuver"). Along the way, Mike announces a very surprising Star Trek comic book crossover, Dan looks for drink recipes, and they completely disagree when it comes to Balok. This week Dread Media gets a little bit meta as Darryll and Desmond take a look at a slasher movie about a slasher movie: The Hills Run Red. Then Devil Dinosaur Jr. takes a look at Theatre Bizarre, an anthology film with a meta framing sequence. There's also songs, but not songs about songs. That would be weird: "Scream!" by The Misfits, "River Runs Red (Re-Zamped)" by Life of Agony, "Chasm" by Gost, and "Scary Movies" by Eminem featuring Royce da 5'9".
