Earth-2.net Presents...

The Myth Arc is something more and more shows aspire to every year. What makes it so special, and how easy is it to mess it up? In this TV 101, Will takes a look at some of the more-admirable and less-encouraging attempts.

This week, Greg Lamberson returns for his Annual Halloween Season Fireside Chat! As always, Greg has a bunch of irons in the fire from his writing (Storm Demon, Scaremonger, The Frenzy Wolves, and The Julian Year TREEbook) to the films he's involved in (Dry Bones, The Legend of Six Fingers, possibly Carnage Road, and more)! On top of all that, he's also running the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival! We also talk about conventions, passion projects and prosthetic boobs. Songs included: "Succubus" by Floodriders, "Three Fingers" by Buckethead, and "The Road Behind" by Gwar. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow @dreadmedia on Twitter! The Doctor invites his friends to watch his death ("The Impossible Astronaut" / "Day of the Moon"), and then he visits a handful of pirates plagued by a siren ("The Curse of the Black Spot"). The guys also discuss the recently found Patrick Troughton episodes, and their plans to cover them on Bigger on the Inside. Please visit www.patreon.com/biggerontheinside.

Straight out of the gate, Mike reveals his feelings for Wall Street, and Shana laments the lack of character depth. That said, the husband and wife team do praise some of Oliver Stone's directing, and, oddly, they keep comparing it to West Side Story. It's Big Damn Heroes 55! Will and Hannah are halfway through these seasons of Buffy and Angel, and this may be one of the most positive episodes in a while! Over on Buffy, there's a Dawn episode that's actually pretty good, some familiar faces show up among the Potentials, and the First is a massive mindfucking dick. On Angel, Samwise Gamgee shows up to direct an episode, the tension keeps getting ratcheted higher and higher, and one of The Heroes' favorite characters makes her final bow. Oh, and the reason that a lot of characters seem to have been tossing around the idiot ball gets explained in a massive way. Join Will and Hannah as they cover Buffy's "Showtime" and "Potential," and Angel's "Soulless" and "Calvary."

In this experimental episode, Mike attempts to read through the October Previews in one take. No edits. All the blemishes. Be warned: It's mispronunciation-tastic!

In this episode of Dread Media, a new co-host joins the gang in a show dedicated to new releases. First up, Jeff, Brittney, Luke, and Auxence join Desmond for a lengthy discussion of found footage anthology sequel V/H/S/2. Devil Dinosaur Jr. delivers a Stay Scary based on the new creature feature, Frankenstein's Army. Then Desmond goes solo on a review of the WWE / Pathe Films bloody revenge piece, No One Lives. The following songs get some play as well: "New Religion" by Black Label Society, "Cult of Suffering" by M-19, "Feed My Frankenstein" by Alice Cooper, "One of Us is the Killer" by The Dillinger Escape Plan, and "A New Day" by Volbeat. Luxurious Victorian mustaches! Wandering Raisinets! And does Dan know the difference between Tanzania and Tasmania? All this and more as the hosts discuss HG Wells' The War of the Worlds, arguably the most influential novel in the genre's history!

If you think this is going to be a good episode of Dropped D, then you might not be wrong. Come musician with us as we discuss Nine Inch Nails' second official full-length release: The Downward Spiral. But, be warned: there is math involved. Also, there's some valuable dating advice, the topic of one of the lost episodes of Dropped D is leaked, white guy rap returns, Desmond has a lot of second-favorite songs on this album, Damien does some shady Google searching, and Desmond is all about making weird noises. All this and much, much more! Let us know what you thought: [email protected], and 410.871.8192.
