Earth-2.net Presents...

It's a double shot of Desmond, Jeff, and Luke this week with a little bit of Stay Scary added in for flavor! First, the trio review the backwoods gore-tastic sequel Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines. Devil Dinosaur Jr. steps in to discuss the sci-fi lycanthrope film from 1956, The Werewolf. The trio returns to look at the straight-to-video feature Airborne. Hot young sheriffs, post-apocalyptic inoculations gone wrong, and Mark Hamill really letting himself go are just a few topics of discussion this week. Join in! Tunes: "Wrong Turn" by The Young Werewolves, "Five" by Machine Head, "Wolfman Boy" by Treebeard, "When the Planes Fall from the Sky" by Monster Magnet, and "American Werewolf in Calgary" by The Browns. In the second Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Runaway Bride," Catherine Tate debuts as the brash-but-lovable Donna Noble!

Just over three years ago, in episode 339 of Earth-2.net: The Show, Des and Mike sat down to speculate on what a Disney-run Marvel would look like. And now that Disney has purchased Lucasfilm, Dan and Mike do the same for Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

Chances are you've never heard of Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael, a little gem from 1990 starring Winona Ryder and Jeff Daniels. And that's precisely why Shana and Mike are talking about it today.

This is the episode you must listen to, as Tom and Derrick address the recent incidents on Facebook, what to expect in the coming months, and an appeal inviting you to help us make the podcast better - and keep it alive. This is a very frank, very raw 35 minutes, folks, so please be prepared. And be ready to do what you can to make BITD grow!

Goths, irrational fears of DVD covers, terrible sequels, and Ernie Hudson are just a few topics of discourse as the Commonwealth Crew discusses the tragic, mopey vigilante film The Crow. This week, Big Damn Heroes has managed to hit 37 episodes, and, with it, the second season of Angel is finally over. This may be one of the shorter episodes in BDH history too, because Will and Hannah just don't have much to say. But at least they will do the dance of joy! Join them as they cover "Belonging," "Over the Rainbow," "Through the Looking Glass," and "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb." (Good luck pronouncing that one, kids.)

Please accept my apology for episode 569.

We reap what we sow this week on a Dread Media Harvest Special! First up, Desmond is joined by Duane to discuss the crime flick cum slasher film Rites of Spring. Then Jeff and Luke are back to talk about the classic 80s TV movie Dark Night of the Scarecrow. Songs put through the thresher: "The Dragonfly" by Clutch, "Spring Fever" by Ghostkeeper, "Scarecrow Man" by The Misfits, and "I Am The Reaper" by Moistboyz. It's a good thing. You're not here to hear Dan and Mike compare Captain America Comics #7 to Captain America #16, The Arrow #3 to Hawkeye #1, and Whiz Comics #22 to Captain Marvel #2. No! You're here for the pot of gold that is The Rainbow!
