Earth-2.net Presents...

In a giant-size edition of Televised Terror, Desmond and Megan talk about monsters in the floor, WWE Superstar Edge, and Jason Priestley during a review of Haven season two. Then, in an impromptu scathing condemnation of True Blood season five, the couple talk about ifrits, merkins, and Scott Wolf. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Big Damn Heroes has hit episode 34, and, yeah, it's here kids. Thank to both Buffy and Angel, though not for the reasons you'd think on Angel, this is gonna be one hell of a depressing episode. There's no way around that. So sit down, get a pint of ice cream, and curl up with Hannah and Will as they cover Buffy's "I Was Made to Love You" and "The Body," and Angel's "Reprise" and "Epiphany."

Dave and Ian reach the end of season three of Blake's 7. In "Terminal," Avon, acting under instructions from a mysterious source, takes the Liberator to an artificial planet thought long destroyed. His haste to get there has a terrible price for the Liberator and its crew, and his arrival has been anticipated. They also look back over the highs and lows of the third season, receive some more medical knowledge from Dr. Stuart, and nearly wear out their dramatic music sting. Stay tuned after the credits to hear the trailer for the forthcoming Blake's 7 audio drama "Warship."

An under-the-weather Mike checks in with news on Saved by the Bell, the review Dan Toland has requested, the year-end goal, and this week's goal / incentive. This episode of Dread Media must break you! Join us as we pay tribute to perhaps the most under-appreciated of action movie superstars: Dolph Lundgren. A trio of films are discussed this week, including Desmond and Darryll's much-requested review of The Punisher; Devil Dinosaur Jr.'s review of the rock and roll action flick directed by and starring Lundgren, Command Performance; and Desmond's biggest solo review on the show yet, the Blu-ray release of Red Scorpion. Listen to the end to find out who won the Penpal prize pack! There's tunes too: "Breakdown" by D2, "Punishment" by Biohazard, "Coup d'Etat" by The Circle Jerks, "Kiss of the Scorpion" by Monster Magnet, and "A Little Less Conversation" by Dolph Lundgren! What do you get when you mix a less-than-sober tweet with two transatlantic replies? This four-hour episode! Today, Mike is joined by the Shake and Blake team of Ian Wilson and Dave Probert to discuss Warren Beatty's 1990 adaptation of Dick Tracy! And make sure to listen to the entire show, because there are four minutes of outtakes! (Notes: This episode was recorded months ago, so there is a rather dated reference to The Dark Knight Rises. Also, please pardon the Skype hiccups.) Make sure to check out the Earth-2.net: The Show Shameless Pledge Drive by visiting http://forums.earth-2.net/index.php?showtopic=9344.

As a prelude to tomorrow's Dick Tracy review, Mike presents two Dick Tracy audio adventures: Big Boy Turns Up the Heat and Everything Comes Up Blank! Make sure to check out the Earth-2.net: The Show Shameless Pledge Drive by visiting http://forums.earth-2.net/index.php?showtopic=9344.

In this short episode, Cassandra returns to plague The Doctor ("New Earth"), and The Doctor squares off against a werewolf ("Tooth and Claw"). Also, spoiler-free thoughts on "Asylum of the Daleks," a brief discussion of "Attack of the Graske," and Mike reveals what Dan has requested he review thanks to his donation to the Earth-2.net: The Show Shameless Pledge Drive.

For the first of two - that's right, two - episodes, The Boys Outta Brooklyn welcome back Dread Media maven and patriarch of the First Family of Better in the Dark, Desmond Reddick, just in time to induct one of the greatest guerrilla filmmakers of all time into The Hall of Great, Great Men. From his first film, the bizarre psychological crime flick Bone, to the Telephone Trilogy, Tom, Derrick, and Des dissect and discuss Larry Cohen's career as both a director and screenwriter. Along the way they explain how Cohen always stayed true to his maverick esthetic, never letting being fired or banned from shooting in the city he loved stop him from making the movies he dreamed of. Plus, tales of focus group marketing, alien emo Jesus, and Fred Williamson is The Hulk! You know you gotta pay the cost to be the boss, so get to clicking!

As you may be able to tell from the album artwork, things get weird as Kellen and Will continue to cover Ouran High School Host Club. "The Grade School Host is the Naughty Type!" shows that the third music room comes with a suspended steel cage, "Jungle Pool SOS!" has man-eating crocodiles roaming free at a leisure resort, "The Sun, the Sea, and the Host Club!" has multiple near-rape scenes, "A Challenge from Lobelia Girls' Academy!" has feminist Nazis (RE: the artwork), and "A Day in the Life of the Fujioka Family!" introduces Haruhi's father (trust me, this also falls under weird).
