It's a horror / sci-fi special this week on Dread Media! First up, Desmond and Darryll take a look at the recent British horror / sci-fi / adventure flick, Attack the Block. Then Devil Dinosaur Jr. reviews the 80s classic Night of the Creeps in a brand new Stay Scary. In a brand new and hopefully recurring venture, you, the listeners, have provided content for an audio montage of your favorite horror / sci-fi films. And lastly, in a completely unrelated review, Desmond tackles some girls and gore with Strippers vs. Werewolves. The first two listeners to email in will receive a Blu-ray copy of the film! And scary sci-fi tunes: "Attack the Block" by Talib Kweli, "Fix Up, Look Sharp" by Dizzee Rascal, "Another Girl, Another Planet" by The Only Ones, "Alien" by Pennywise, "Wolfjob" by The Meteors, and "Watch the Sky for Me" by Powerman 5000. Dying in the Gutters returns! Again! And boy, are Chris and Desmond stoked to talk about three excellent comic books: Tomb of Dracula #28-30. But there's also the painfully maddening Giant-Size Dracula #3-4. Ugh. Marvel at Dracula's racism! Wonder at black guys in China with Japanese names! Be amazed as Dracula babysits! Seriously, ol' Vlad should probably not be working for Child Services. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow @dreadmedia and @Agent_326 on Twitter.

It's time for what may be the most controversial Point Five episode to date! Tom and Derrick use the recent outrage over BITD-Approved Geek Goddess Aisha Tyler hosting a video game launch and the casting in The Hunger Games to explore racism in geek culture, a subject one of The Boys Outta Brooklyn has intimate experience with thanks to Dillon, his New Pulp hero. It's a heated half hour of frank talk, so get to clicking!

Will Ackerman embarks on a new journey to tell you about the 2012-2013 Television season. What new show makes his science brain hurt, how does Sherlock Holmes porn come up, and what bet is going to come back to haunt him? Tune in and find out! The Doctor reunites with Sarah Jane Smith to defend the world from an alien race bent on cracking it open ("School Reunion"). Then, The Doctor, Rose, and Mickey must save Madame de Pompadour from futuristic robots ("The Girl in the Fireplace"). Topping all that off, there are lots of e-mails, barely any curses, and someone has a cold.

Though Shana and Mike love Moonstruck, they do disagree on one point. As they recast it, however, they agree on not one but two actors! Also, Mike's words come back to haunt him. Twice.
