Earth-2.net Presents...

As Superman: The Animated Series and Gotham Knights come to a close, Bruce Wayne marries a plant ("Chemistry"), the Joker creates a lecherous lunatic ("Beware the Creeper"), Two-Face tries to kill himself in a roundabout way ("Judgment Day") and Superman attacks his adopted home ("Legacy").

Des is back! As always, he and Mike reviewed five comic books (Dead of Night Featuring Devil-Slayer #1, Marvel Apes #1, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane #2, Sub-Mariner: The Depths #1 and Venom: Dark Origin #2), but one of them was so bad it put the duo in a foul mood for the rest of the show.

In this first anniversary episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick gets real and reviews two upcoming nonfiction books, Book of Lists: Horror and Cheap Scares: Low Budget Horror Filmmakers Share Their Secrets. He's then joined by Michael David Sims for an in-depth chat about Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Then he caps it all off with a look at the documentary Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film. Go and check out the official website at www.dreadmedia.net. Enter the newly upgraded Jigsaw Man / Apparatus Revolution contest just by contacting me. Tunes included: "Shitlist" by L7, "Are You Eating It (or Is It Eating You?)" by The Browns, "Ghouls on Film" by Hola Ghost, "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer" by Fantomas, "Rise and Fall Complex" by Return of the Blind and "Vaginal Torture Device" by Forgetting Tomorrow. "Am I the meanest? Sho'nuff! Am I the prettiest? Sho'nuff! Am I the baddest mofo lowdown around this town? Sho'nuff! Well who am I? Sho'nuff! Who am I? Sho'nuff! I can't hear you! Sho'nuff... the Shogun of Harlem!" Oh yeah, we're talking about The Last Dragon!

For the honor of Grayskull, Jenny and Mike review She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword!

A child prodigy, a space cadet, a hyperactive ditz, a gentle giant, a jock and a straight (wo)man all walk into a high school, and we get to laugh at the results as Kellen reviews Azumanga Daioh.

Once again, Dan Toland joins Mike to discuss five comic books: Black Panther #40, Daredevil #110, Runaways #1, Secret Invasion: The Amazing Spider-Man #1 and She-Hulk #32.

In this episode of Dread Media, a tired and cranky Desmond Reddick presents what he has recovered of his messed up Festival of Fear coverage. In chronological order: a question and answer session with Slime City director Greg Lamberson, an interview with Edward Douglas from Midnight Syndicate and an interview with Greg Lamberson. Tunes include: "Unsound" by The Headstones, "Brain Damage" by The Browns, "Called from Beyond" by Midnight Syndicate, "Gruesome" by Giasone and Marcy Italiano and "Fear of the Dark (Live)" by Iron Maiden. Prior to their reviews ("Legends of the Dark Knight," "Unity," "Girl's Night Out," "The Demon Reborn" and "Mad Love"), James and Mike answer more e-mails than ever before!

This week, Mike and a special guest review 1985 #4, Moon Knight #21, Punisher #61, Uncanny X-Men #501 and X-Factor Special: Layla Miller. Who's the guest and where's Des? You know how to found out.
