Earth 919: A Comic Book Podcast

Today's episode will cover Marvel's most recent event: Civil War II. We spend the majority of the episode picking at all the issue's flaws and insecurities, leaving it with an eating disorder by the end of the show. We also share what comics we've been reading recently as well as a titillating return to our Versus segment, where Matt desperately tries to convince me who would win. Today I try desperately to convince Matt that the Government is not trying to steal his Wi-Fi password and that ice cream is not a fruit. Additionally, we also share our thoughts on Fox's latest attempt at that sweet, sweet, superhero money pie, X-Men: Apocalypse. We'll briefly touch upon the plot, or not, and then give our takes on the characters in the movie. At the end, we then share what we've been reading as well as suggest some titles to all our loyal listeners (I'm looking at you mom). In this short episode, we discuss passing of the mantle as well as three rounds of versus. Who would win: Iceman vs The Human torch? Hulk vs The Juggernaut? Captain America vs Batman? Tune in to find out! Also, Matt's mic feed messed up a few times so sorry for the static.
