Asia Suler is a writer, teacher and ecological philosopher who lives in the folds of the Blue Ridge mountains. She is the creator and concoctress of One WillowApothecaries— an Appalachian-grown company that offers handcrafted herbal medicines and online education. Asia’s work— which is a unique combination of herbalism, animism, Daoist stone medicine, ancestral healing and earth-centered mysticism— is rooted in the belief that self-compassion is a force of ecological healing.  Her forthcoming book of nature writing will be available through North Atlantic Books in 2022.
