In this life with all its difficulties and trials sometimes we think God has forgotten about us. Two disciples of Jesus leaving Jerusalem after the crucifixion felt that same way, that God hadn’t kept His promises. But we will see this Easter, Jesus opens up the Word to them and shows them Messiah’s death and resurrection wasn’t outside the plan, it was God’s plan.
