Graduation is just around the corner! Join us for this conversation as Zach and Cooper speak specifically to graduating seniors and about transitioning out of high school. This week, Zach talks about LIGHT. In the midst of everything the world tries to give us, Jesus is the only true light in this world. Jesus is the answer. As followers of Jesus, we are then called to be a light in our everyday lives, even when we are opposed by those around us. Smoking, drinking, and partying is a big temptation during high school. How should Christian high schoolers respond? In this episode, we're joined by Eastview's Junior High Pastor Matt McClane as we discuss the Christian approach to parties, whether alcohol is a sin, and how a Christ-follower should respond to the legalization of marijuana.

This week, Marissa talks about how Christians are called to live in community. In Exodus 25, we see how the priest was the only person allowed at the table with God, but Jesus coming to Earth broke that mold. Jesus was inclusive to all but limited to one physical body, so with the presence of the Holy Spirit, the early church was able to be inclusive to all in all places. We, too, have the same call as the early church (5/2/21).

This week, Zach talks about the cleansing power of Jesus. When we struggle with sin or difficult life circumstances, God promises that he can make you clean. The wash basin in the Tabernacle points to Jesus washing away our sin, and also show the importance of taking the next step of baptism (4/25/21).

We're back! Join us for this conversation with a dear friend of ours, Dale Avery, as we discuss how we can respond to the racial injustices in our nation. In this conversation, we talk about how to respond to racial injustice as Christ-followers, the Black Lives Matter movement, and how to approach social media.

This week, Matt talks about living in repentance. Drawing from the imagery of the Altar of Burnt Offering in Exodus 27, Matt reminds us that Jesus is our ultimate sacrifice. As a result, we get to follow Jesus and repent every single day, just like the Israelites used the altar to make themselves right with God. (4/18/21).

In the FIRST week of our new series "Vintage Blueprint," Matt encourages us to remember that God is ALWAYS with us. He talks about the Tabernacle (Exodus 26), which indicated the presence of God in the Old Testament, and how God is now present through the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives (as seen in Acts 2). In the last week of our "Passover" series, Zach reminds us that God is a Way Maker. He reminds us that God keeps his promises, performs miracles, and lights up our darkness, even when we don't see it or feel it. In whatever season of life you're in, we hope you are encouraged to run to the Lord and lean into His love and deliverance. (3/28/21)
