Packing your hospital bag is one of those wonderful rites of passage that all pregnant women experience. It's a fun and exciting time as it finally starts to feel 'real'. But it can be a little bit overwhelming trying to think of exactly what you need to bring.    No one wants to be the one turning up to the hospital with a giant suitcase on wheels, two holdalls, and a birthing ball, but if you look online it can seem as if there’s a lot of stuff you ‘have to have’, making the whole task feel stressful and something you want to just keep putting off.   It's always good to have some expert pointers on what items can help to make the whole experience that bit more pleasant.    In this podcast, host Emma Parkin chats to midwife Lisa Canavan about the important items to pack in your hospital bag, and why you need them.
