Happy Monday! I first want to formally apologize to Marcus's family for the delay in getting this episode posted. I promise you it is worth the wait! Tim and Marcus (otherwise known as Tarcus) join us this week to talk all things P2 year. Notoriously, P2 year is the hardest year of pharmacy school. However, while we may have been working super hard in school, we also found connection in each other through trivia, social events, and crosswords. Tim and Marcus bring a special energy to our class and we would not be the people we are without them and our memories.

5 blocks down, 4 more to go. This episode we talk about our experiences at our ambulatory care sites in Montana and Colorado. We both had some challenging experiences that pushed us to grow a lot but weighed on our hearts that we felt the need to talk about. Overall, we are so thankful for our experiences, but this episode is a little heavier than some of our other ones have been. Nonetheless, we live and we learn and are so glad to have this platform to talk about those things.

Carter Richard Holm joins us this week to talk all things law school! Carter is Peyton's roommate and (arguably) best friend. It's been such a treat to get to know him over the years and this episode is a bundle of laughs and law. Grad school is hard but it's the people and experiences that get us through. Carter is living proof of that and we hope you enjoy this episode!

We want to apologize for the hiatus in episodes, the past couple of weeks have thrown some curve balls at us. However, we are so excited to be back and with none other than Jana Kay! Jana is one of those people who light up the room when they walk into it. She makes everyone around her feel better and feel worthy and it is a privilege to call her our friend. We talk about her rotations at Mayo, what it was like to win the Lon Larson award in May and of course throw in some fun stories along the way.

Please welcome the wickedly talented, Amisha Tayal! Amisha is a fav friend and is currently a P3 at Drake going through the preferencing process in preparation for her P4 year. We check in with her how that's going and reminisce on our experiences doing the same thing at this time last year. Amisha also had an internship with Seagen in Seattle this past summer and she touches on her time there. Peyton and Amisha have a meet cute story that you'll want to hear about and this entire episode was a sick one. Amisha, we love you!!

We are almost halfway through our rotation year and have been working our booties off these past 5 months. Our guests today are no strangers to working hard. Sam and Dillon are two individuals who hustled throughout pharmacy school but still were able to be the life of the party and enjoy the years we had together. They're doing great things on rotations and it was so fun to catch up with them and hear of their adventures!

We are four blocks into our rotations year! Each 5 weeks goes by faster and faster it seems like. This episode we talk about some of the most important things we learned at our block 4 sites (St. Cloud Hospital and San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation), the struggles we encountered, the coolest things we got to see/do, and how we have seen growth in ourselves. Do we feel more prepared to be a pharmacist? That is still up for debate.

Two dynamic duos come together for this week's episode. Shannon and Fiona met before undergrad even started, just like we did and have been inseparable since (well until Fiona decided to graduate and go to PT school). We talk about how we all met during P1 Spring and some of the crazy experiences we had such as Ghost Girl at 1 am walking back from a late night study session. Fiona touches on her experience in PT school in Chicago and of course we always touch on advice and fun memories throughout the years. Another super fun episode filled with laughs and great company.

THE MOMS ON A PODCAST!! Our wonderful mothers join us this week for an episode full of laughter and good memories. Our parents have been with us through it all and we wouldn't be where we are without them. Not only has our pharmacy journey affected us, it has also affected our moms greatly. They even became besties from us introducing them and we wouldn't have it any other way. The moms talk about their experiences of putting us through college as well as their own college experience and how that has got them to where they are today. Thank you moms for all you have done for us. We truly appreciate and love you so so so much.

It's been too long since the three of us have been together so we thought we'd catch up and talk about some of the great memories college has brought us. We also talk about traveling and being off on your own and how nobody really talks about how lonely that can be sometimes. All three of us have been so thankful for our rotations and this did not deter us from choosing the rotations we have completed so far, but it's important to keep that in mind when preferencing sites (which is already in the back of P3's minds!). This week together (well technically apart) was much needed.
