  • What Putting God First Actually Looks Like in a Busy Life

Discover how putting God first—especially in life’s busiest moments—can bring real peace, balance, and purpose through Matthew 6:33.

In this vulnerable conversation, we dive into what it really means to keep a God-first posture while navigating real life—responsibilities, busyness, and the constant overwhelm that can come with it. This isn’t a picture-perfect discussion; it’s an honest one about what it looks like to seek God, first, in the middle of the mess, not just in the quiet moments, or at our conveniences.

Rooted in Matthew 6:33, this conversation reminds us that balance isn’t found in a perfectly managed schedule but in a surrendered heart that seeks God first. It’s about choosing presence over pressure and faith over frantic striving. May this encourage you to pause, realign, and let your day—and your life—flow from a place of seeking Him first.

  • I Didn’t Expect My Blessings to Feel This Heavy

Discover how to steward the blessings God gives without feeling overwhelmed, and turn every opportunity into faithful, purposeful living—Luke 12:47-48.

Are you overwhelmed by the very blessings you prayed for? Sounds strange, until it happens. In today’s episode and the third installment of the Hey God, I Have Questions series, we unpack what it really looks like to balance blessings and be a great steward over them. — Witness

  • Why Growth Feels Like a Fight Sometimes

In this episode of Eat Don’t Compete, we dive into the tension of becoming who God has called us to be. Drawing from three powerful scriptures—Jacob wrestling with God in Genesis 32, Paul’s image of jars of clay in 2 Corinthians 4, and the thorn in the flesh in 2 Corinthians 12—we see how struggle, weakness, and dependence on God are all part of spiritual growth.

I also unpack the difference between purpose, calling, and assignment, and how understanding each one can bring clarity to your walk with God. Whether you’re wrestling with your identity, battling your own “thorn,” or simply trying to keep going in the middle of life’s challenges, this episode will remind you that the tension is not a sign of failure—it’s a sign of transformation.

If you’ve ever wondered how to stay faithful when life feels heavy, this conversation will encourage you to lean into God’s process and keep pressing forward.

Tune in, take a deep breath, and be reminded: you are seen, known, and wonderfully made by God. You are different because that's the way God made you.

  • I’m Learning How to Be Honest About Who I Am While Still Growing

In this episode of Eat Don’t Compete, I open up about what it really means to lean into who I truly am. Walking in authenticity can feel heavy when you’re carrying the weight of God’s assignment, but Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (and some versions mention that we are all 'complex').

I share my heart on being nervous about how I show up in the world as I  trust God’s design and live boldly in His calling. If you’ve ever felt the tension between who you think you should be and who God made you to be, this conversation is for you.

Tune in, take a deep breath, and be reminded: you are seen, known, and wonderfully made by God. You are different because that's the way God made you.

  • Cheap Wisdom: How to Get Godly Wisdom (James 3 & Proverbs 1) [Full Teaching]

In this youth service message, Cheap Wisdom, I made an attempt at diving into what true, godly wisdom looks like according to James 3:13–17 and Proverbs 1:5–7. And the working definition I've derived is that "wisdom is the skill of discerning [insight into] how to [competently] act on the knowledge that leads to living in accordance to how God has designed for us as Christian to live.

Wisdom isn’t something we can buy cheaply or gain through shortcuts — it’s a Christian virtue that shapes how we live, decide, and discern. Together we’ll answer three key questions:

    1. How not to get wisdom?
    2. How we’ve settled for cheap wisdom?
    3. How to pursue godly wisdom?
    4. Using biblical examples, like Joseph’s choices in sharing his dreams, we’ll unpack what it means to walk in wisdom that honors God and leads to godly living.

    5. I Thought I Knew Where My Life Was Going—Then Everything Started Shifting

In this final episode of the series, I share my personal testimony—my God story—and how I came into the faith. This is my story of how I am "becoming" in Christ. I appreciate everyone who decided to tune in and share my birthday with me. This is a transparent look at the transformational power only Christ can bring.

    6. I Stopped Treating Prayer Like a Last Resort

In this seventh installment of The Blueprint of Becoming, we’re talking about prayer—not as a performance or formality, but as personal communication with God. Why is prayer important? Why does it matter to talk to the One who created you? Why should the created speak with the creator? And how do we actually pray with power and effectiveness?

      We’ll explore:

      • Why Jesus calls us His friends (John 15:14-15)
      • The importance of daily dependence on the Bread of Life (John 6:35)
      • What makes prayer effective: faith, obedience, humility, confession, fasting, and more
      • Ephesians 1:17—through 3 different Bible translations
      • This is a soul check. Are you prioritizing prayer or treating it like a backup plan?

Reflection Question/Journal Prompt: How well do you wait on God? Are you approaching prayer as something you "have" to do or something you "get" to do?

Don’t just talk about God—talk to Him. Jump into the comments and let’s talk: What’s one thing you’re praying for right now? Like, Share, and Subscribe if this episode stirred something in your spirit. Drop a comment and tell me what you’re praying for today.
