Who says you should do what you do? Are you making your decisions based on what others think or say? Put the oxygen mask over your face before you put it over the person seated next to you.  Ensure you are in the proper frame of mind to assist others. Don't assist on "E".    

Choosing yourself does not mean you are not choosing others. Be free to spend time with yourself. And think ... what will I think about this if I don't do it rather than what others would.
