In 1991, DMX hit The Source's Unsigned Hype column. Which started the momentum, that got fuelled by Mic Geronimo's 'Time To Build' single, that featured X, Jay-Z & Ja Rule.

Guest spots on '24 Hrs. to Live' by Mase, 'Money, Power & Respect' by The LOX, '4, 3, 2, 1' by LL Cool J. Lead to 'It's Dark and Hell Is Hot' in February 1998 and seven months later (December 1998) he drops 'Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood'. A year later (December 1999) '... And Then There Was X' hit!

'Stop Being Greedy' by DMX - 1998

The weekend got cracking with another 'Bellator' card, and with '256' we also get the 'Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix' underway. 

The main card got off with a real controversial decision win for Dan Moret as it had looked like Goiti Yamauchi control had got him the fight.

Cat Zingano really kicked the doors off with her flawless performance and great armbar win.

Ádám Borics and Liz Carmouche gave dominant showings to make their divisions take note.

And in the Main Ryan Bader turned the fight around in the third to really walk away with a clear decision win and move one step closer to getting his title back. 

Then we have our second outing on 'ABC' for 'UFC', on a card that faced some ups & downs but gave us some exceptional performances.

It had been six months since his last fight and he dropped a division, BUT Impa Kasanganay showed great movement and got the night rolling with a no hooks, rear naked choke!!!

Mackenzie Dern used her fast hands to get in close, hits a takedown and added a new arm to her collection.

Will Julian Marquez survived a scare at the end of the first, to open up the second fast. He lands a BIG right, which allowed him to get the rear naked on Sam Alvey, who went out fighting, like the smiling badman, he is!

Jarjis Danho was like Impa, I've been out five years and look what I can do, as he lands the right hammer for an emphatic return!

And Mateusz Gamrot showed us what all that buzz was about and gets a second round stoppage!!!

In the Main event, he turned things around in twenty one days, which is impressive and Kevin Holland looked very good on the feet. BUT, Marvin Vettori was focused on one outcome and he utilised his wrestling to take Holland down, control and get that win!

David Michaud has had to withdraw from his fight with Rory MacDonald on the 'Season 3' opening event for PFL. Michaud has discovered that he has a heart defect which could mean he has to retire. Curtis Millender will be replacing him against McDonald and also on the night Lazar Stojadinovic steps in to fight Movlid Khaybulaev  replacing Jason Soares.

Rob (Al Weaver) has been with Marta (Cristina Catalina) for a while. Everything was comfy BUT they're now in their late thirties, all their friends are married with kids and Marta wants a baby of her own. So Rob has to decide, does he want to have kids, does he even still love Marta or is he just going through the motions. So we follow along as he explores his feelings, seeking advice from friends, visiting past loves and testing the waters with new ones. Is the grass greener, or is he missing what's right in front of him!

'Good Feeling’ by Flo Rida - 2011

The fight fun kicks off Friday night with 'Bellator 256' and this week it's time for their 'Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix' to get underway. And it's a rematch between two former Champs Ryan Bader and Lyoto Machida. They've fought before and Machida got the W, so Bader is looking for revenge and to advance in the brackets.

And the Co-main sees ladies pioneer Liz Carmouche go at it with former 'Invicta FC' Champ Vanessa Porto whose making her debut. 

Then Saturday evening (it's an early show) is the 'UFC's' second event on 'ABC'.

And we see Kevin Holland make a quick turnaround against 'The Italian Dream' Marvin Vettori whose been on a tear of late. Holland wants redemption and Vettori wants that title shot!

This is a stacked card, which could see a changing of the guard!!! 

We're seeing young guns and 'Dana White Contender Series' vets, Joe Solecki and Julian Marquez looking to elevate to the next level. Solecki has the challenge of true vet and tough as nails Jim Miller. While Marquez has a Sam Alvey whose smile might become a scowl, as he could be fighting for his job!
