  • 012 : Darla Flack - From Direct Sales to Ebay to Amazon to FBA to Information Sales

Darla clearly is a professional, you can hear the years of Accounting training in the words she uses: "Know your numbers", "Improve your Margins", etc.... To hear she did well in Direct Sales in addition to being a skilled Accountant makes her the full package and quite frankly it is why her business has grow so much and is scheduled to grow another 15% this year while getting a son into college. She is using a controlled growth strategy. I love the way she speaks of getting her business level into the segment that is right for her. In other words, her model, her efforts might not be right for you but they have found the right size segment for them. Great visualization and focus.

  • 011 : Bver Vienneau – Asking great questions from the Great North (eh!)
Bver surely asks the most questions, he is continuously probing, checking for options, figuring out a better way. (Or even if there is a better way) He is the consummate student. He talks about sourcing from Canada and shipping 90% of what he buys to the US. The extra steps are really a barrier to entry for many but his determination allowed him to push through it. We talk about getting past "Lifestyle Creep" and what it is like on the other side, we talk of Dave Ramsey and how it helped prepare Bver to go full time.

Bver mentioned: Share a VA, Bver's Facebook

    QUOTABLES:

"Canada sometimes for me is a trap, it is a harder market to read"

    NUGGETS:

Buying at a cost that even when the floor falls out you can still break even
Having the ability to walk away from a purchase is a skill worth sharpening
Join up with some one else, someone to hold you accountable

  • 010 : Chris Bond – Wind in his hair, Sun on his back..Coming to clear the stores in a town near you
Imagine putting your tent in the trailer, a pack of Home Depot boxes, some tape, a computer and printer...Tooling down the road with Bob Seger's (At least that's who I hear) playing loud on the radio planning the next 3-5 days where you will be traveling 700 miles through large and small towns, dropping in and out of the same model stores....finding and sucking up all the Abritrage you can find! Sound like fun? Or how about jumping in the truck following your family as they travel to see family, you dash off and hit a few stores, then catch up with them at night and talk through your day, then get up and do the same thing the next day. Soon enough you pull off and leave your vehicle and spend the real quality time with your family...at a whim..as you decide..... Sound like a dream? Well that is the life of Chris Bond, a true "Traveling man" who lives in a small town in Nebraska and will travel many states, couch-surfing, tent Camping or Hoteling (last resort) and seeing friends while buying and sending products into Amazon on the road and back. He really has created a true Lifestyle, he has taken this process to a level most of us dream of.

Imagine putting your tent in the trailer, a pack of Home Depot boxes, some tape, a computer and printer...Tooling down the road with Bob Seger's "Turn The Page" (At least that's who I hear) playing loud on the radio planning the next 3-5 days where you will be traveling 700 miles through large and small towns, dropping in and out of the same model stores....finding and sucking up all the Abritrage you can find! • 009 - Matt Carlett - A Dad who has been brought Home

Jim Cochrum likes to say: “We’re bringing Dad’s home!”

Matt is that guy who was brought home. He truly is a different kind of seller, he is a true “Stay-at-home” Dad and has no plans on changing that. He is not growing enormously fast at the cost of time, he has to really manage his time. I think Matt is a great example of a “level-type selling model”, find a pace to hit your targets and maintain that. Otherwise you risk burning out eventually if you don’t learn to manage your expectations. Matt is an online sourcing expert and uses shared VA’s to source for him and others in his small group. He walks you through his process and its a great model if you find the right people to partner with. Note, that is really important! Communication is the key. Matt has done a great job with Private label and using Amazon to fulfill his Ebay Listings and finally Matt talks about using a processing company in a tax-free state.

  • 008 - Albert Palacci 888LOTS.com - Bringing Wholesale Buying as a partner to your business

This is great information on growing your business with Albert Palacci from 888Lots.com. His company offers lots of inventory from Amazon for you to sell on Amazon. He walks you through the process from start to finish and shows you how to scale up your buying without leaving your office. The transparency Albert offers is unprecedented and really can give you confidence that what you order is what you get. They have an open-door policy where you can see their New Jersey warehouse in person (with appointment of course) to get a better idea of how their system works. There are no fees to join but you are screened and Albert walks you through that process. If Retail Arbitrage or even Online Arbitrage is becoming too time consuming for you, this might be a viable option. (Note- I am not being paid for this, this is my opinion/observation and you need to do your own due-diligence!) The goal of this podcast is to help you get unstuck and to move forward and that is why we are reviewing companies that I feel would benefit this goal.

  • 007 - Steve Raiken - General Contractor of Passive Income

I am going to call Steve "The E-Book Contractor". His ability to take the General Contractor role in pumping out e-books where he develops the idea, finances the project and then brings together a team to put together a book that the market wants/needs. His ability to research the project and then manage the process has really brought him a lot of success to the tune of over 125 titles where his vending machine generates over $10,000 a month in true "real passive income". This is a great chance to review your online business plan and see if there might be a way to add other methods to income earning. Steve offers several ways that you can truly earn income without touching a physical product.
