Ryan's enthusiasm comes through the microphone, his rapid success comes from really hard work. He is a super-competitive-nose-down work until you drop type of seller that has recently gotten married and has recognized a sweet-spot in his business/life.
He is not chasing every dollar, he is chasing every Profitable Dollar! Very smart!
We spend a lot of time talking about foundational approaches to building your business with a strong base. Ryan is very analytical and always thinking, calculating and forward looking and will get you thinking of better ways to run your business and add back time to your life.
Michael is a very smart "Old School" IT Professional with 25+ years of experience. Those 25 years have really been polishing and positioning him for his really big idea: Co-operative Warehousing. Most people are familiar with Prep & Ship Companies and the valuable services they offer (and the time they save you!), Michael's idea is to take it one step further: Co-operative Warehousing. Co-operative warehousing is where a group of sellers (think Board of Directors) pool their resources to hire and share a center manager & staff to handle their processing needs, this allows them to take advantage of purchasing power and allow the group to decide it's future as this industry evolves. In this interview he shares how he, and his group, have set up a shared services center, how it is structured, cost, etc... A true blueprint that you could follow.
Jay Bayne has really been able to grow massive multiple streams of income while working full time and still having fun! In this interview he talks about how he is able to manage growing revenue streams along with growing children in "Loosely Controlled Chaos". His FBA business is growing at a great pace, his Scanner Monkey Group Business has over 1,660 members sharing "how to's and Lucky Finds" and his newest venture Cyber Monkey Deals where they send you low rank/high return items on a daily basis. This is a man who really knows how to manage his time, get the best yield from an idea and has a sense of where he wants to be.
If you really want to create a legacy eCommerce business this is probably going to be a good interview for you. This is a different style interview for me as we immediately jumped into how Dan Meadors and Eric Lamberts business works. It is a fascinating study on what to do right when you want to scale up a business: Hire well, train, train, train, build processes, poke, prod, challenge, listen to your staff, fix their pain points, grow...... hire, train, train.... (rinse and repeat!)
Ma
ggie is an expert at bringing Private Label products to market. After bringing 16 products over the last few years, that title is well earned! Her skills earned while being a 911 operator have kept her calm in the choppy waters of creating private label products from China on Amazon. She has an extensive knowledge of antiques and Ebay but her real focus is selling her products on Amazon. She offers a great frame of reference if you ever want to jump in, she also runs a course with Andy Slamans called Alibaba to Amazon where they teach you to create your own products, have them made in another country and get them sent into the Amazon Marketplace. Maggie also offers personal coaching at Maggiecuson.com where she give you one-on-one time with her, she will help you with product leads and really help you get started.
