Mendy is a great example of what can be. His confident positive attitude is clear once you talk with him, but he is still a student, learning new methods and techniques and here's the best part... He shares the things he learns in his Facebook group: Race to the Million, where he shows his progress (sometimes regress) while helping members move their business forward. His "Pay it forward..Reaching out with others" attitude has served him and his members even better. He talks about Retail Arbitrage, Online Arbitrage, wholesale and Pallet buys. Great intelligence from a retailers perspective also shared from his life's experience at 13 running a flower shop that you can use in your strategy.
One quick conversation with Ryan you will realize has been preparing for his Online Selling Experiment his whole life. Starting by raising and selling Sheep, chickens and eggs while in High School he began to understand the benefits of the buying and selling markets. He talks about starting at an Accounting Firm after college and realizing the track he would be on is not the life he was after. Fast forward to Online Selling Experiment where he blogs about his experience in this eCommerce world. He shares his successes and his shortfalls including the most detailed profit & loss and cash flow statements of anyone in this business. Ryan will tell you, his story can be copied if you are willing to work hard, make difficult decisions and stay focused. Ryan's goal is for younger people to see there is another path and he is willing to show you how through his Online Selling Experiment.
Amy is always smiling, just look at her photo. She approaches life from a great place with two great kids and an understanding husband. Amy has recently written the book Amazon FBA Launch Pad where she walks a "More than Interested" person through the ins-and-outs of selling on Amazon. From similarities and differences with Ebay all the way through sending your first shipment into FBA. There are many pieces in-between and she walks the New seller through them in great detail. So the next time an acquaintance says "I want to sell like you do, it looks so easy!"....you have a way to help them get started.
Listening to Mark speak of his wife's First husband, Alan, in such a respectful and honest way really tells you something about him. It is clear he knows how the business has become so successful and is very clear that he, nor Robyn, will let that change. Mark talks about how Bubblefast came to be, how out of a tragedy, the real vision of the original founders is coming true. He talks of growing a business from 13 Sku's to over 1,800 today, he talks about their commitment to customer service and offers you a chance to call and ask more questions. By the way, it will be him or Robyn that answers the call! He speaks of how they have and can still take an idea from start to finish based on customer needs (Who does that anymore?) and he speaks of his and Robyn's commitment to "Community", after-all that is how they have been able to stay in the e-Commerce industry for 17 years.
Brian is a street-smart hustler kind of seller. But don't let Brian fool you.... he happens to have a college degree, has ran several successful retail locations, has seen the high of multiple sales channels (selling over 200,000 cd's & dvd's on Amazon) and the low of being suspended off Amazon and lives to tell the tale from the other side. (He was reinstated in one week) He speaks of his mistakes, owns up to them and accepts responsibility for them, and how he has modified his business to ensure it doesn't happen again. My admiration and respect for Brian has gone up enormously based on this interview as I am sure yours will too..
