We had Kevin Laroy on the show to talk about his 20-year his career arc, which started with him tattooing out of a garage, and has lead to him being on some of the most popular reality TV shows. We also touched on his growing position as a tattoo educator, and discussed some helpful tips for progressing in your career, staying busy through slow season, and more.

Kevin Laroy is a Dallas-based tattoo artist. He's worked in New York and LA, and appeared on the reality TV shows Inkmaster, Black Ink Crew, and How Far is Tattoo Far. He has been a presenter at the Eden Winter Symposium and has taught a hands-on seminar at Eden.

Squire is nationally renowned for his unique illustrative tattoo style as well as his attention to detail. The way he creatively uses his illustrations and interest in graphic design makes his merchandise and its packaging, convention booths, and seminar presentations all head-turning. He’s a frequent teacher, a serial learner, a business owner, a family man, a Florida man, one of the most humble tattooers out there. It was great getting to know him better!

Ryan Ashley was the winner of Inkmaster Season 7, hosted of Inkmaster: Angels, and was an Inkmaster judge on seasons 14 and 15. She is a master of tattoo design and composition. While she's versatile in all styles, Ryan is best known for her intricate tattoo designs that combine fine line and realism elements in black and grey and color, often using jewelry as her subject matter to decorate the body. She is the co-owner of Elysium Studios in Grand Junction, CO with Arlo DiCristina. She works with incredibly talented tattoo artists such as Jacob Sheffield, Autumn Hudson, and Kristina Taylor, and has hosted some of finest artists in the world.

In this episode, we talked about how she got into tattooing, the importance of sharing knowledge as a tattoo artist, the night she won Ink Master, and more.
