  • Episode 9: Are you ok with Jesus coming back before your bucket list is complete?
Are you so content and comfortable with your life here on earth that you don’t want Jesus to come? That’s often me, which is incredibly ironic because I consider myself a committed Christian. My hope and faith in God cannot be complete or enough for this life if I do not eagerly await His appearing.
We don’t want Jesus to come back because we don’t believe that eternal life will be better than the good, nice, and exciting things we hope to experience in this life. We don’t think the relationships in Heaven will be better and more meaningful than the ones we have now.
C.S. Lewis says every good thing on this earth is just a shadow of the TRUE thing God has made. The beauty we see and experience here on earth is only a broken form of how God intended for it to be.
Consider where your treasure is, and whether or not you trust God to make Heaven better than everything you have right now.

Do you struggle to hear God’s voice? Do you struggle to find the Bible interesting or worth reading? This episode is for you! • Episode 7: No fear here! God is bigger than Coronavirus!!
The news is so negative, and lately people are getting very stressed and nervous. Toilet paper is flying off the shelves (can someone tell me how this will help you with Coronavirus?), and everyone is losing their minds.
Whether it’s Coronavirus or something else, we often struggle with fear. Tune in for encouragement from the Scriptures to be reminded that God is still in control. Turn to your Creator for peace and reassurance of His care. Psalm 91!

    To prevent contracting Coronavirus:
-Take Zinc supplements, like lozenges. Zinc kills coronavirus on contact.
-Take N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC for short). It boosts your immune system, and 3/4 ppl taking two doses of 600mg/day don’t come down with the flu when exposed to it. (Cheap, and available at your local health food store.)
-Eat berries and plums for high levels of anti-oxidants, as well as cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, kale, garden cress, bok choy, broccoli, brussels sprouts and similar green leafy vegetables.

  • Episode 6: How come my prayers bounce off the ceiling?
Does it feel like your prayers won’t get past the ceiling? Do you struggle to find things to say to God when you pray? Do you have a hard time sometimes even wanting to pray?
Don’t worry- you’re not alone! All of us know what it’s like to go through these things. My own experience has taught me that when I’m complacent and comfortable, I’m not really praying for anything meaningful.
Try following this simple prayer format: PRAY: Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield. Pray dangerous things that expand your comfort zone so God can reveal Himself to you in a living and powerful way!
Share with me your challenges and experiences with prayer at [email protected]. I’d love to hear your feedback!

  • Episode 5: Why does God have the volume so low?
How come God doesn’t speak louder to us? It can seem He’s aloof and uninterested in us when we don’t hear Him.
The truth is that the Holy Spirit is always speaking to us, but we don’t notice because we’re busy with other things, and afraid of what He might say.
Take a moment to let Him reach out to you. He will comfort you, counsel you, encourage you, and transform you to be more like Christ. He will show you who God truly is and bring you “peace that passes understanding” (Philippians 4:7, 8).

  • Episode 4: Jesus, the Fulfillment of Your Heart
Thirst is one of the worst feelings there is. We often get so busy that we forget to stay hydrated. If we forget to “hydrate our souls,” we’ll find ourselves dissatisfied with life time and time again. Achieving our greatest earthly goals might be satisfying at first, but we’ll soon feel empty again because those things can be taken away from us. This cycle of unfulfilled desires jades us, making us cynical about God’s ability to give us meaning and lasting contentment.
C.S. Lewis said, “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
I invite you to consider that Jesus is the fulfillment of all your desires. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in His Word, and find out for yourself.

  • Episode 3: The Good Father
The way we view our earthly father directly impacts the way we view God the Father, and influences how drawn to or driven away from Him we feel. The story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 shows us that God the Father loves us enough to let us make our own choices, even if they hurt us. He’s always ready to take us back with open arms. All we have to do is come to Him.
Ask God to reveal Himself to you this way as you seek Him out in His Word. You’ll be amazed by His care, wisdom, patience, and understanding.

  • Episode 2: Do you need to answer all your questions before you can believe?
John 9 tells of a man who was born blind, and healed by Jesus. He didn’t know who healed him, but still believed because he knew what had happened to him. No one could convince him his experience was inauthentic, even though he didn’t know how to explain how he had been healed.
The good news is this: you don’t have to understand everything to believe something. So will you consider the invitation of John and at least look? And for some of you, believe? And for others of you, believe, again?

  • Episode 1: Who do you say that I am?
Who do you believe God is? Does that belief really transform the way you live? Religion can’t simply be a formal, distant experience that doesn’t humble us or require a sacrifice of us. That type of faith has no power to heal, no skill to comfort us, and no beauty to draw us near time after time. It lacks life, and meaning, and relevance.
I invite you to think about who God is to you. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in the Bible. You may be surprised to see Him differently than you ever expected to.
