  • 193 The Sexual Holocaust: A Global Crisis - Dr. John Sanford and Bridgette Heap

We are now witnessing an unprecedented disaster. This disaster is like a tsunami in that it has appeared very suddenly and has swept across all the nations of the world, creating indescribable chaos and suffering in its wake. However, this disaster is man-made. It stems from the sexual revolution, and it is creating billions of victims. This disaster is the sexual holocaust.

Here today on Educate For Life, Kevin interviews the authors of the book “The Sexual Holocaust: A Global Crisis”, Dr. John Sanford and Bridgette Heap. What is the Sexual Holocaust? It is the pervasive ideology of “anything-goes” sexuality. Sanford and Heap theorize that this ideology stems from the era of the 1960’s and 70’s during what was known as the sexual revolution.

Sanford and Heap challenge the secular culture of unrestrained sexually. They explore what the harmful consequences of this culture are on our physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well being. They also present ways that these harmful effects can be countered, treated and healed.

  • 192 What is the Biblical Significance of the Deep State? - Alex Newman

The Deep State. Some say it is a conspiracy theory, while others fully believe in its existence. It’s hard to cut through the noise and determine what is fact and what is fiction. So is anything having to do with the deep state fact? What significance if anything does it have? Does the Bible have anything to say about it?

Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest Alex Newman. Alex Newman is an award-winning international journalist, educator, author, and consultant. Alex has written for a wide array of publications in the United States and abroad. He currently serves as a contributor to The Epoch Times, WND (World Net Daily), FreedomProject Media, The New American magazine, the Law Enforcement Intelligence Brief, and more.

Alex Newman has studied the Deep State for over 12 years. He has delved into the history and facts of the Deep State, a group of politicians, bureaucrats, and other government officials that use their influence and power to enact policies to gain even more influence and power. Alex sees a biblical connection when it comes to prophecies concerning the End Times and the governmental system of the Antichrist.

  • 191 Two Commissions - Dr. James Fazio

Most people are familiar with The Great Commission as written in the Bible in Matthew 26. But did you know there is another commission written earlier in the book? This first commission is very different from the Great Commission. So why is that?

Today on Educate For Life, Kevin speaks with Dr. James Fazio. He is the Dean of Bible and Theology and Professor of Biblical Studies at Southern California Seminary. James Fazio has been in the field of education for most of his life. Beginning in the public sector, James taught as a para-educator for the San Diego Unified City School District, working with special education students at Alexander Graham Bell Middle School (1995-2000) and afterwards Junipero Serra High (2000-2005). In 2010 James entered private Christian higher education, teaching undergraduate courses in biblical studies. In the next year, James accepted the position as Dean of the College at SCS.

Dr. James Fazio has an expertise in dispensationalism. Dispensationalism is a religious interpretive system and metanarrative for the Bible. It considers biblical history as divided by God into dispensations, defined periods or ages to which God has allotted distinctive administrative principles. Put simply, this means that God has interacted in different ways with people during different periods in history. This is crucial in understanding the difference between the two commissions and why that difference exists.

  • 190 Contested Bones: Examining the Missing Link - Christopher Rupe

When “Lucy” was discovered, it was widely touted as a “missing link”. According to Evolution, the human species evolved from an ape-like ancestor about 6 million years ago. Lucy’s discovery was evidence that the evolutionary ape-to-man theory is scientifically correct. However, the validity of this missing link is now in question. Many other so-called missing links are also questionable or have been outright debunked. So are there any real missing links?

Today on Educate For Life, Kevin is talking with Christopher Rupe who co-authored the book “Contested Bones”. Chris Rupe is a biologist and graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2009. Since 2011 Chris has been a Research Associate at FMS Foundation. Chris has researched a broad range of biological topics—ranging from the origin of life, to bacterial evolution, to whale evolution, to the famous riddle of “Haldane’s Dilemma.” Chris has published numerous articles on these topics.

For the last 5 years, Chris has been researching human evolution and the hominin fossil record. Chris has been studying paleoanthropology in depth—which has required the study of hundreds of technical papers and dozens of related books. Contested Bones is the result of more than four years of intense research into the primary scientific literature concerning those bones that are thought to represent transitional forms between ape and man. This book’s title reflects the surprising reality that all the famous “hominin” bones continue to be fiercely contested today—even within the field of paleoanthropology.

This work is unique in that it is the most comprehensive, systematic, and up-to-date book available that critically examines the major claims about the various hominin fossils. Even though the topic is technical, the book is accessible for a broad audience and is reported to be engaging even for nontechnical people.

Chris Rupe is also working on a documentary called “Dismantled: A Scientific Deconstruction of the Theory of Evolution. It is premiering October 9-11. • 189. What is Critical Race Theory? - Dr. Joe Miller

Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is a theoretical and interpretive mode that examines the appearance of race and racism across dominant cultural modes of expression. In adopting this approach, CRT scholars attempt to understand how victims of systemic racism are affected by cultural perceptions of race and how they are able to represent themselves to counter prejudice.

So how does Critical Race Theory work in the real world? How does it compare to a worldview like the Christian world view? Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest, Dr. Joe Miller. He has almost a decade of experience as a teacher and administrator in Christian higher education. He has a diverse educational background and 20+ years of pastoral experience. He has authored multiple books and journal articles on topics such as church construction, leadership, history, and biblical theology.

Understanding Critical Race Theory is crucial to understanding current events in the United States and around the world. According to CRT, only the minority truly understands the nature of race and oppression. The systems in place are forms of oppression and must be overthrown because they are inherently racist. Even the use of logic is a form of oppression.

  • 188. Is Biblical Illiteracy the Church’s Biggest Problem - Kay Arthur

A 2016 LifeWay Research study found 1 in 5 Americans said they had read all of the Bible at least once. However, more than half said they have read little or none of it. “Churchgoers are ready to defend the Bible as true and as a faithful moral standard,” said Scott McConnell, executive director of LifeWay Research. “But most admit they stumble on understanding the specific meaning as they read.” So, how can you study the Bible effectively and gain understanding?

Today on Educate For Life, Kevin has as his guest Kay Arthur. Kay Lee Arthur (born November 11, 1933) is an international Bible teacher, four-time ECPA Christian Book Award winning author, and co-founder of Precept Ministries International. Kay teaches inductive Bible study, and has authored many inductive Bible study workbooks. The Inductive method of studying the Bible, is a set of steps to follow to "mine" the details of the given book under study.

Kay Arthur’s exciting, practical approach to studying the Bible has helped millions of people discover the truth of God’s Word for themselves over the past five decades. • 187. Equality for the Unborn or Equality for nobody - Seth Gruber

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, “While most abortion care is delivered in outpatient settings, in some cases care may be delivered in hospital-based settings or surgical facilities. To the extent that hospital systems or ambulatory surgical facilities are categorizing procedures that can be delayed during the COVID-19 pandemic, abortion should not be categorized as such a procedure. Abortion is an essential component of comprehensive health care. It is also a time-sensitive service for which a delay of several weeks, or in some cases days, may increase the risks or potentially make it completely inaccessible. The consequences of being unable to obtain an abortion profoundly impact a person’s life, health, and well-being.”

In other words, abortion is necessary while other medical procedures are not. Today on Educate For Life, Kevin speaks with Seth Gruber. The son of a pregnancy resource center director, Seth Gruber was raised in the pro-life movement and has been speaking publicly on behalf of unborn children since the age of 19. He has spoken across the U.S. educating and equipping pro-life advocates to be a gracious and persuasive voice for unborn children.

Seth travels and speaks in Protestant and Catholic high schools, churches, pro-life training seminars, and for pregnancy resource center banquets, engages in academic debate, and blogs and writes as cultural and political commentator. Seth is also the host of the podcast UnAborted! First gaining exposure during his college years, Seth founded and directed the Students for Life Club at Westmont College, a Christian liberal arts institution. While there, he conducted educational displays on campus to challenge the institution for their refusal to take a formal position on abortion. During the summer, Seth interned with a pro-life organization in Southern California, where he helped coordinate and conduct educational displays at over 10 universities and engaged with thousands of students on the topic of abortion. Upon graduation, Seth joined Life Training Institute as a pro-life speaker. He is now a nationally renowned speaker for life and is represented by the Ambassadors Speaker Bureau.
