Edwin Sammon Of Knowledge

It's the last days of solitude in Waterford as our intrepid podcaster reports from his small room within a room within a house. Ed reviews April Fool's pranks and talks about his animal instincts kicking in at the local shopping emporium. There's a late, honourable mention for a fourthquel movie involving apes, and, of course, strange and unexplained bursts of singing.

Our intrepid podcaster is still transmitting from his small wardrobe of solitude in Waterford and in honour of his fourth podcast episode he gives his worst and best movie fourthquel picks including a fourthquel that never happened. There are spoilers aplenty. There is also some singing and Ed talks about the millionaire horse that lives in the field next door.

Our intrepid podcaster records from a room within a room within a house in Waterford, listen as he gives you actual knowledge in the form of fun facts about his home town of Birr, Co. Offaly. There's also a description of the modern sci fi vacuuming system in his family home and how Ed and his girlfriend nearly had their first row over eggs.

In this episode our intrepid podcaster Edwin talks about the emotional struggle of self isolation and losing his patience with a certain section of the population who are not being distant enough while out being social. Ed also talks about the volunteer work he was doing that was cut short because of the outbreak and sings his own made up theme tune that doesn't sound anything like a popular and well known theme from a classic 1980's show.

Professional funny man and actor (plus baker) Edwin Sammon presents the first episode of his solo podcast. Ed is well known as a stand up comedian, podcaster and actor and now turns his hand to monologuing alone in a room due to the global pandemic. Subjects are rambling, unstructured and hilarious including a discussion of the aesthetic nature of testicles and his experience on First Dates Ireland, Ed also coins the phrase "mental distancing".
