This week Ed has a hot take on the Late Late Toy Show and recalls his first and only viewing party. He talks to his robot buddy BB-8 about whether the matrix is real or not and how he copes with being a corporate plaything. Ed also has been summoned for jury duty but he knows how to get out of it and recalls the last time he served. Plus, what new job has Ed landed that involves 19 other men? The answer will surprise you. all this plus a special Christmas song and a guest appearance from a drunk Orson Welles. Enjoy!

While making the podcast at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, Ed was tired of just delivering monologues about his life and thoughts on the topics of the day no matter how cool, funny and interesting they were. He then had the idea of making a silly soap opera for the podcast and all he had was a title, "Love Notes". That alone made him laugh and armed with no plot, he started recording ten minute segments at the end of the episodes. The entire thing is improvised in his brain and comes out of his mouth as it happens and is then edited afterwards with sound effects and music. All of the episodes of the soap within a pod are now compiled here together with an extra special song at the end for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

It's a bumper episode that sees the long awaited return of space set soap opera spectacular 'Space Notes' where new villain Francis Raygun threatens Tony with a class action space lawsuit. Ed also gives his two cents on the shock semi final exit of the Great British Bake Off and his tip for the winner. Ed bemoans the lack of quality Irish accents in film and gives his best and worst culprits as the trailer for the new movie 'Wild Mountain Thyme' breaks the Irish internet. Ed asks, is it that bad? It probably is. There's a mini trailer for his own version which would probably be called 'Brendan and the American Potato Fancier' but it is unnamed. Ed also complains about his horrible neighbour driving away the nice neighbour and her lovely dog, Ben. There's also a lovely freestyle rap in the style of a local Dublin scut. Enjoy. x

This week Ed is in a freestyle rapping mood and is not in any way talking about the political election between two very old white men across the pond. Instead he is talking about the long list of scary movies he has yet to watch, which horror musical he watched recently, how a house swan and a street rat can get along and talks about the sad passing of occasional guest star of the podcast and titan of the acting world, Sean Connery. Also there is a rap exclusive from MC Fishyman about babies.

This week Ed deals with the horror of having a dishwasher break down. Not only does he have to wash everything by hand he has to call for a repair in what ends up being a real horror show. Ed also has an exclusive interview with a vampire called Simon who may not be as ancient as he thinks and is also confused as to what podcast he is on.

Ed gets to the bottom of the conspiracy that absolutely no one is talking about and has amazing exclusive audio of Sir David Attenborough that may shock. Is any of it real? Probably not. But Ed is becoming his own cat and is wary of the folks out there who have a degree from the university of Google. All this plus some horrible German music, Ed talks about his old Santa job and Brendan Blowhard gives us a stone cold classic Halloween tune.

A spooky special as Ed explains the origins of Halloween but not before discussing the merits of The Karate Kid and it's similarities with a certain space saga. Ed keeps the swear jar empty for the duration of the episode but adult themes remain in a PG kind of way. There's also a run down of his top picks for Sunday afternoon television and why Antiques Roadshow is a perfect tonic for these mad times.
