John the Beloved of the Lord, also called John the Evangelist. John the son of Zebedee. This is that same John that leaned upon Jesus at the Last Supper. John writes to reveal that Jesus is God. This is a high view of God and Jesus as God is manifest in human flesh.

A deceiver and antichrist is against Christ or teach another gospel. We must believe what the Bible says about Jesus and that of a truth Jesus is the Son of God and that he is God manifest in the flesh.

This message is given as an application of the Parable of the 10 Virgins, and has in view the coming of our Lord Jesus.

The vengeance of God is poured out upon Babylon, that God would return his people to the land. The people held in captivity would return and seek Zion, the city of God. The Empire of Babylon would be crushed, destroyed

Joshua sends out spies to check out Jericho and are helped by Rahab as she feared the God of Israel, for she realized that terror was upon the hearts of the people.

1John 3-10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil- whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

This message begins with a short hymn verse considering, -Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing to introduce the message on the subject of Memorial. Today we are looking at an account of a memorial concerning Israel and its revival of worship and the ark of God was safe at Kirjath-jearim yet the people were delinquent of true worship of the LORD. Samuel exhorts them , they lament before the Lord, Samuel calls them to fast, pray, and confess their sin of following Baalim and Ashtaroth, the false gods of Canaanite deities. After their confessing God delivers them from their Philistine enemies and they are victorious by the might hand of God.

Chapters 47-49 are prophecy by Jeremiah against the nations who brought idolatry into Israel. They now became conquered by Babylon as part of God judgment against them. Psalm 2 may also be read and applied to this judgment as we find that the nations rage against God's anointed. This Psalm may also be called a coronation psalm as it was believed to have been used when David was cornated king. Yet also speaks concerning the coming reign of Jesus.

We are to love one another as children of God, but if we do not love one another can we say that we are children of God- Consider the text and see what kind of relationship you manifest, of God or of the evil one. We are to rather manifest that which of God that we may show ourselves ans children of God.

Daniel is rescued by God, he was thrown into a den of lions because of his persistence in prayer and devotion to God. Then due to a conspiracy by certain counselors to the king he is put in jeopardy. A plot was made against Daniel but God preserves those who serve him, for he was a godly man of the LORD.
