White House reporters had the nerve to ask why there were no doctors at the podium. Well, because they do not ask serious questions. The entire briefing is probative.

Reporters: Stop asking silly questions!

The mainstream media's dereliction of duty is partly responsible for much of America's political cesspool. Reporters have become imitators of the those who seem to be the most outrageous.

The mainstream media gave Donald Trump viability and plausibility. It made him president. If he was covered for the deviant he was, then our socio-political decay would be less pronounced. Hell, we likely would have continued the recovery to humaneness and sanity.

This should turn every Progressive's head. Senator Joe Manchin seems to threaten AOC & Progressives with GOP votes for the bipartisan infrastructure bill in his very folksy tone.

Progressives need to be very aware that they are currently at a dangerous moment. Republicans could unite with enough Democrats to play them. Nancy Pelosi holds the key.

We have not yet seen the bipartisan bill. But based on Republican values, one can imagine that they will have options for the private sector to milk the poor & middle-class via toll roads and private/public partnership. In other words, we pay for the risk, and they get our tax dollars as profits.

Donald Trump is losing his hold on the Republican Party where it matters. And Susan Collins completely threw him under the bus blaming him for Jan 6.

Jake Tapper asked Senator Susan Collins if she supported the Select Committee. She claimed the committee was partisan. When Tapper pointed out that the committee had two Republicans, Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, she balked. She said that Nancy Pelosi should not be the one picking who served.

Tapper made it clear that firstly it was Mitch McConnell who effectively blocked an evenly divided bipartisan commission. And secondly, Rep. Jim Jordan could have been a material witness since he was in contact with Trump, likely on January sixth. She still believed it was the Republican Minority Leader who should appoint the representatives to the committee. Of course, she is wrong. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks would have made the Select Committee a circus.

I commend Stephanie Ruhle for covering the Texas Voter Suppression walk, allowing Beto O'Rourke and Rev. Barber to speak freely. But the misrepresentation of the poll is dangerous. Her producer needs to do better.

Stephanie Ruhle was great in the amount of time she gave both Beto O'Rourke and Rev. William Barber to speak. Her devil's advocate questions allowed both Beto and Barber to enhance their answers.

Ruhle's first question was about the optics of Texas Democratic State Legislators leaving the state. The implication is that they are not doing their jobs. The reality is that ensuring a lack of quorum is a part of their job to save our vote.

I get hundreds of comments during my daily program. This one from TOM C struck me. It was simple, fact-based, and easy to see and understand. The GOP is the party of death.

Yesterday's Politics Done Right was mostly dedicated to COVID vaccination hesitancy and similar topics. We played a clip from Fareed Zakaria's GPS where he pointed out that, unlike any past pandemic, we have a ready solution. It was Republican politicization that killed 600K+ Americans. The piece gave us the perfect chronology.

We also played a clip that illustrates why so many Evangelicals are anti-vaxxers. A Tennessee Pastor threatened to block them from church if they wore masks. He claimed the COVID Delta variant was a hoax. But he is the spiritual misleader of many.

Many in the GOP attempt to equate the Black Lives Matter protests with the Jan 6th attempted coup. Republican Adam Kinzinger dispels the fraud.

Adam Kinzinger was emotional throughout the hearing. It is clear that the officers' testimony and video had the same effect on him as it had on most humane and patriotic Americans.

Kinzinger went on to make a profound statement. He dispelled any notion that the January 6th insurrection, the terrorist attack against the Capitol, the attempted coup was in any way similar to the Black Lives Matter protests. While I disagree with his characterization of the BLM protests, his conclusion was spot on.

Officer Harry Dunn had the most prescient statement at the Jan 6 Select Committee Hearing where he said one should not have to be considered brave, to tell the truth. But his request to Congress could not be discounted.

The Select Committee Hearing on the January 6th terrorist insurrection on the Capitol, the attack on the United States was riveting. The Capitol police clearly demonstrated that the terrorists came to overthrow the government of the United States. They came to affect a coup. And they had a leader.
