Ephesians 2:1–7 | God's ultimate purpose in saving sinners is to show His grace in such a way that He is forever praised for lavishing it on us with immeasurable kindness and love in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:19–23 | Paul looks at two events in Jesus's life—His past resurrection and His present, everlasting rule—as evidence of how God powerfully works in the Christian life.

Ephesians 1:15–19 | God calls us to pray that He would give us the Holy Spirit so that we know Him in an intimate, relational way.

In Jesus, God both gives and guarantees us an inheritance so that we will praise His glory, the eternal display of His greatness.
