Ephesians 1:7–10 | God's ultimate purpose is to unite all things in Jesus forever. For those whom Christ redeems and forgives, this means being united to Jesus by His lavish grace.

Ephesians 1:1–6 | Praising God's glorious grace in Christ is the motive and result of Him blessing us by choosing us from eternity and predestining us for adoption.

Acts 1:6–8 | The Holy Spirit empowers the church for worldwide witnessing of Jesus's worth and works.

1 Corinthians 12:14–27 | Many parts are needed and every part is needed as the church celebrates both unity and diversity as the body of Christ; the flesh-and-blood means through which Jesus accomplishes His mission of global discipleship.

Galatians 4:1–7 | God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem and adopt us. He also sends His Spirit into our hearts to assure us that we are His beloved children and that He is our loving Father. This changes the way we relate to God, to fellow Christians, to non-Christians, and to our biological family.

Matthew 28:18–20 | In one of Jesus's last pre-ascension teachings, Jesus clarifies that making disciples is the mission of the church, the primary way we are to obey the Great Commandments before He returns.

Mark 12:28–31 | In what Jesus calls the greatest, most important commandments, we discover the reason we exist now and forever: to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as ourselves.
