This group of dedicated volunteers help rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife. Segment 1: Amber Banda has Emergence Health Network back, just in time for back to school! She talks with Noreen Jaramillo, Director of Communications, and Krista Wingate, Chief of Child Adolescent Services, about challenges faced by parents and kids alike when going back. Amber Banda speaks with Candice Reyes, Founder and Director of The Jazz Exchange in El Paso, TX. After coming back from living on the east coast for 10 years and seeing the jazz scene in El Paso lacking, Candice and her husband Abel decided to create this organization to educate and entertain the public via jazz music. Amber and Candice talk about the differences between the jazz music scene in the east coast vs here in the Sun City, Candice's musical upbringing, and events coming up where people can be exposed to this amazing and often misunderstood form of music.

They also talk about an upcoming fundraiser, the Brew Battle Pillow Fight, with a stacked lineup of pillow fighters ready to fight and raise funds in the sake of JAZZ. Dolores talks about losing her father, having a school named in his honor, how this organization came to be reaized, and how it plans to ensure that the stories of these brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice continues via the Gold Star Memorial. This memorial will serve as a place where Gold Star families and the community can go to pay respects, honor, and remember.
