El Shaddai is the last name of God in our Names of God Series here on Rinse and Repeat.  El Shaddai means God Almighty, All-Sufficient, and is a great way for us to conclude the names of God, especially after addressing our grueling inadequacies last week.

El Shaddai made a way for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be fruitful and multiply, despite their failures and issues of barrenness.  El Shaddai is also frequently mentioned in the book of Job, where we are reminded that El Shaddai is Almighty when all is lost, and He is All-Sufficient, when everything seems to be gone.
