Deuteronomy 16:13-15 You shall observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that you have gathered in your corn and your wine: And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates. Biblically known as Yom Hakippurim which is actually day of atonements.

Or yom ke-purim “a day like Purim” a day of deliverance and salvation

Leviticus 16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

Remember the 1st Yom Kippur? Moses was up in the mount for 40 days trying to make atonement for the nation of Israel after the golden calf incident.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Hasatan literally translated as “the accuser or the adversary” satan is the prosecuting angel who is always hard at work pointing out your flaws. But one day a year he is rendered speechless. Yom Kippur.

In Hebrew hasatan השטן = 364 which is one less than the total of days in a year for on Yom Kippur he is incapable of carrying out his mission!

Deuteronomy 31:19-22 “Now therefore write this song and teach it to the people

of Israel. Put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the

people of Israel. For when I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and

honey, which I swore to give to their fathers, and they have eaten and are full and

grown fat, they will turn to other gods and serve them, and despise me and break

my covenant. And when many evils and troubles have come upon them, this song shall

confront them as a witness (for it will live unforgotten in the mouths of their

offspring). For I know what they are inclined to do even today, before I have

brought them into the land that I swore to give.” So Moses wrote this song the

same day and taught it to the people of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:28-30 Gather to me all the elders of your tribes, and your

officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to

record against them. For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt

yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will

befall you in the latter days; because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to

provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. And Moses spoke in the

ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were

Rosh Hashanah is an annual re-coronation of God as the King of the world. The central observance of Rosh Hashanah is the sounding of the shofar, representing that the king is coming! Anyone excited about the return of the king?!!

Also the cry of the shofar is the call to repentance.

Instead, the farmer declares his understanding that G-d is not only the driver at the helm of history, but also the source of his own personal bounty.

Deuteronomy 26:3,4 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us. And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
