In this extraordinary episode of Elder-Speek: Kipp, Mats and Gavin wrestle with the humungus mountain of news that came out of last week’s GamesCom gaming convention in Cologne, Germany. Fear not though, we also go over our week in games and the regular news, though the question of the week as been left out in the cold.

After two weeks in a row of technical difficulties resulting in two lost episodes we’re finally back. This week we predict the Game of the Year contenders and winners of 2009. And of course as always we go over not so thrilling news. In a strange turn of events we completely forget to mention our week of gaming, but the wound is mended when Randy and Nate discuss their patented Geek Night in Gotham City.

This week Gavin tries his hand at hosting while Mats and Eliot argues semantics. As usual we go over our week in gaming and discuss the “massive” news bombs of the week. We also give sexuality in games a more then thorough work-around (ugh…) in this week’s question of the week.

Randy, Kipp and Mats sit down and discuss their week in games through the virtual tubes. The news is bombarded with artificial illumination and the casual question of the week gets a hardcore beating.

This week Kipp, Mats and Gavin get together to record podcast detailing their week in gaming, the week in news and most importantly the contrast between mature ratings and mature content in games. We also talk a bit about the upcoming Harry Potter movie and the book it’s based on.

Randy’s back for another episode of Elder-Speek, as usual we kick it off with the games we’ve been playing, including a rant on Empire: Total War. We go over a long but interesting news list and give the movie Public Enemy a thorough trashing. For the QOTW we discuss the effect HYPE as on us and gaming in general.

In this week’s episode Randy and Kipp interview Suttering Craig from Screwattack.com and chat about the upcoming Screwattack Gaming Convention. Eliot, Mats, Gavin and Dan discuss games that "touch them." Nuff said.

This week Gavin joins us as he just got back from E3 and he has stories of magic and wonder to share. In addition Eliot has a revelation that leads to a Geek fight of massive proportions involving stars, wars and bad acting.

Mats, Kipp, Dan and Randy spent the whole day following the press conferences of E3. Later that evening they decided to record an epic podcast detailing their opinions on the big 3 press conferences. Settle down and enjoy this one and a half hour long Geek-out!
