Elder-Speek: The Elder-Geek.com Podcast

For our officially unofficial 8th episode Kipp is stuck at an airport and brings our new favourite guest host airport announcement lady on the show. We discuss the games we’ve been playing with Infamous headlining. We also give the news a quick go around and thoroughly scavenge the forums for user opinions on the question of the week, as well as supplying our own.

Unfortunately our very own E3 attendee Gavin Greene wasn’t able to make the show due to scheduling issues, to make up for this Gavin has supplied us with a comprehensive and detailed predictions list in audio form. For consistency’s sake we’ve decided to name it episode 007 on iTunes,

In this spectacular E3 predictions edition of the Elder-Speek podcast we dedicate the entire show to our personal predictions on what E3 2009 introduce. We go over what we think the big three will announce in their press conferences, we tackle the third party publishers and predict the "winner" of E3 2009.

For this week we go a bit overboard with a one and a half hour long podcast, Eliot joins us mid recording and we answer all your questions. For news we have topics like the rumoured PS3 slim, GFW’s disappearance from E3 and the new Tony Hawk Ride.

In this fourth edition of the Elder-Speek podcast we talk about the new site features, and answer our first ever question from Taurus Oxford. We go over the news with topics like the 3D Realms closing and Sly Cooper 4, we also experiment with movie discussions as Kipp and Mats have the very first Geek Fight on the podcast. We also launch our new feature the Question of the Week.

In this episode Randy takes the reins and assumes the host role. Eliot couldn't make it but Kipp is back and stronger than ever. We have a frustration filled discussion about the games we've played, have a more detailed report of this week's news with topics ranging from the Six Days in Fallujah controversy, to Mr.T the video game. We also give our impressions with the latest gameplay footage released this week. Sadly the interview with Uwe Boll didn't work out as planned and he couldn't make it, we apologize to everyone looking forward to it, but I promise you'll still enjoy the show. As usual send all questions to [email protected], subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, and visit our Facebook group.

In our first second episode we’re joined by Tom and Andrew from Wapeach.com. With them we discuss the games we’ve been playing, relevant news like: Uncharted 2 Multiplayer, Lego Rock band and Wii Motion Plus. We announce the new site updates that are on the way, and give homage to contest winner Brian Williams for the new podcast name Elder-Speek. Eliot also makes his first appearance in this episode, while Kipp was unfortunately left behind. Next week we’ll have an interview with the one and only Uwe Boll, so make sure you send in your questions to [email protected] and if there any good we’ll present them to the infamous filmmaker himself. Visit Wapeach.com for videos and editorials on all the best in retro gaming, and subscribe to their podcast which Randy recently appeared on.
