Who is Jesus?

John doesn’t begin his Gospel with Bethlehem, a manger, or even the ministry of Jesus. He takes us all the way back to the beginning.

“In the beginning was the Word…”

Before creation, Jesus was there. He is the Word. He is the Light. He is the Creator. And the incredible news of the Gospel is that the eternal God stepped into His creation and dwelt among us.

In week one of COME AND SEE, we open John 1:1–18 and begin answering the most important question we could ever ask: Who is Jesus?

What if the Gospel of John wasn't written just to inform you—but to confront the biggest question of your life?

Why did John write his Gospel when three others already existed?

At the end of his book, John gives us the answer:

"These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." (John 20:30–31)

As we conclude our House of Prayer series, Pastor Joe challenges us to become people who pray as long as it takes.
