When things don't appear to be going your way, do you choose to believe there must be more to the story? In this episode, I tell a story of a career moment of impact because of my default mode, because of what I chose to believe.

Default mode - ya right - wait till you see the end!!

Rather than judging if something will work or not, make the assumption there is always something to learn and decide to figure out what that is.

It always works out best for me - I just don't see it like that. It doesn't work that way for me. Classic - It doesn't have to be that way.

An extra measure of Grace, Chicken, and egg.

Grace or expect favor - My nature is to challenge, buck the system, test authority- Like a game. And when I get called out from time to time, I am the first to take responsibility and apologize for my often well-intended choices. As you test new things, lean into the favor that is there for you - You get what you expect. Expect the Best and See what happens.

No matter how successful you are, you can always get better. We specialize in those already extremely successful in their own right.

A great example is when Tiger Woods story making an adjustment to his swing rather than telling him how to swing like somebody else. 90% of sales training is keeping what you have and 10% is making adjustments. What you have is fantastic perfecting. The primary goal is focusing on perfecting perfection all the while keeping the great things you are already doing.
