If the prospect is talking to you, assume they are looking for the YES! I got caught looking for the No and the prospect was looking for the YES. Selling at the door - Secretly hope no one was home,  We are trained to look for the No and avoid the pain of indecision rather than labor for the yes.  If you are interacting, they are looking for a reason to say yes! The prospect wants to say yes. If they are talking to you, they want to say YES!  Give ALL you have and they will say YES!

Are you are a thermometer or a thermostat?  - Misconception

You are always both. You can assess the energy, attitude, stress, AND your presence will impact it. Our mind and our lips are powerful.

If they are upset, your breathing, listening, and patience will relax and calm them.

If they are cold and apathetic, asking great questions, gushing, and encouraging will elevate your impact.

Be aware of yourself and of others to be your Best.

I have enough ‘Drinking Buddies’

Small talk is difficult.  If you can’t be real with me I lose interest quickly.  Having one or two real authentic relationships is an important key to navigating the issues of life.  Be mindful of the ‘topic of conversation’ and have people who you are there with AND are there with YOU!

Millenials Maybe the Best generation for us all!! They have a Greater Good For Serving others.

Millenial Work Ethic - Best employee 8 hours of fantastic undivided attention.  Worst 8 hours of mediocre at best. Young people today have every waking hour of passion, ingenuity, pursuit. I love the passion and natural authenticity of Intention.

Surround yourself with others who care. Rather than judging differences, look at their differences and see how they are elevating their impact.

The boy is walking along the beach after a storm picking up Starfish and an old man stops him and says “You can’t possibly help all of them”. But I can help this one! Then the old man stopped, turned for a few moments and watched the boy vigorously saving every starfish he could. Witnessing the determination of the boy and seeing the sunrise, he knew the boy didn’t have much time. Rather than continuing his normal walk, that day, he turned and began helping save the starfish.

And now, The rest of the Story…

As he worked, the old man recalled HIMself being younger, having had and lost his own idealistic dreams.  As he watched the boy, he knew someday soon the heat of the sun would rise on that young man’s dreams and the boy would need to face his own reality … But not today. 

Today, the ‘youth of the old man’ was kindled by the vitality and determination of the boy AND the boy was encouraged in his effort … So THEY SAY - What difference does it make? 

It makes a difference to THIS ONE - It makes a difference to this younger person!
