We sat down with musician Griffin Ross to discuss his debut album - "Elevation," that we reviewed on Episode 282. We've known Griffin to be an amazing saxophonist, so we were floored to hear him talk about writing and producing every song on the project. We discuss his collaborators, his North Carolina roots that led him to current day Harlem, Church, and how to reframe the labeling of "Jazz," in today's landscape!
